Shine Bright!

Greetings and Happy Memorial Day! Here's a project designed for Topflight Stamps! This week our theme is Stars! Here's a link to Topflight Stamps' Sun/Moon/Stars category!

Here's my card created with the Kate Crane KC006 Cling Rubber Stamp Set and Eclectica ENB02 Rubber Cling Mounted Set by Nicci Battilana — both by PaperArtsy. I also used the Tag It Yourself Die Set 27 and the Frayed Frames Die Set 26 by AALL and Create as well as the Ink Drops - Vivid and the Grunge Mid Tones 6x6 Patterned Paper Pads by  Craft Consortium.

Stamping Platforms

Instructions:

1. Create an A6 card from Purple cardstock. Set aside.
2. Secure a panel of white cardstock to the base of a stamping platform with magnets and/or low-tack tape.
3. Position the girl with stars from the Kate Crane KC006 Cling Rubber Stamp Set facedown and centered on the panel.
4. Ink the stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and stamp onto the image panel and onto repositionable sticker paper. 
5. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version and place it over its counterpart on the image panel.
6. Position the stand stamp from the Kate Crane KC006 Cling Rubber Stamp Set facedown underneath the masked girl on the image panel.
7. Ink the stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and stamp onto the image panel and onto repositionable sticker paper. 
8. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version and place it over its counterpart on the image panel.
9.  Place a piece of repositionable tape across the bottom of the image panel under the stand. 
10. Sponge or brush Della Blue Elements Inks over the masked images onto the image panel.
11. Use a tag die from the Tag It Yourself Die Set 27 to cut the image panel. 
12. Place the base of one of the rectangle dies from the Frayed Frames Die Set 26 across the tag portion of the die-cut. Secure the die with repositionable tape and run it through your die-cut machine.
13. Remove the masks from the image panel die-cut and color the girl, stand, and grass with Copic markers. Use the B41 Copic marker to edge the top part of the image panel die-cut and YG63 to edge the bottom part of the image panel die-cut.
14. Cut a piece of patterned paper from the Grunge Mid Tones 6x6 Patterned Paper Pad so that it's slightly larger than the die-cut image panel, mat the image panel, edge it with V15 marker, and set it aside.
15. Choose a piece of patterned paper from the Ink Drops - Vivid 6x6 Patterned Paper Pad for your background panel and place it onto a stamping platform secured with magnets. 
16. Position the star stamp from the Eclectica ENB02 Rubber Cling Mounted Set so that it's facedown on the top right of the patterned paper panel. 
17. Ink the star stamp with White Shimmer Delicata Ink and stamp. 
18. Wipe the stamp with a shammy.
19. Re-ink with Golden Shimmer Delicata Ink and stamp again. 
20. Keeping the stamp in the same position, move the patterned paper ~2.5" to the right and flush with the base of the stamping platform.
21. Ink the star stamp with White Shimmer Delicata Ink and stamp. 
22. Wipe the stamp with a shammy.
23. Re-ink with Golden Shimmer Delicata Ink and stamp again. 
24. Remove the stamp from the stamping platform.
25. Remove the patterned paper panel from the stamping platform and heat set the Delicata Ink to set it and to bring out the shimmer.
26. Place the patterned paper back onto the stamping platform along the left edge and the bottom of the platform. Secure with magnets.
27. Position the star stamp facedown below the golden stars on the right.
28. Repeat Steps 17 through 27 until the patterned paper panel is filled with heat set golden stars.
29. Trim the image panel to 4.25" wide and edge it with the gold shimmer ink. Heat set the panel.
30. Adhere the image panel to the background panel, then adhere the combination to the reserved A6 card. 
31. Use Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink to stamp the nameplate from the Kate Crane KC006 Cling Rubber Stamp Set onto one of the scraps of patterned paper used for this card. 
32. Position the sentiment stamp from the same set so that the sentiment you want to use will be within the nameplate, cover the rest of the sentiments of the stamp with repositionable tape, ink the stamp with Monarch VersaFine Clair Ink, and stamp. 
33. Heat set the sentiment plate, fussy-cut it, and edge it with a black pen.
34. Adhere the sentiment to finish the card.
