  2. Place a piece of white cardstock onto the base of a stamping platform, secured with magnets and/or low-tack tape.
  3. Use a stamping platform and Memento Ink to stamp the Medium Keyhole twice — once onto the center of the white cardstock and once onto repositionable sticker paper.
  4. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version so that you have a piece that will cover the area around the outline of the keyhole. Cut it again along the outside border of around the keyhole. then cut it yet again around the inside border of the keyhole. You should end up with three masks, one for the area around the keyhole, one for the outline of the keyhole, and one for the keyhole itself.
  5. Position the Angel Girl stamp from the  Cartoon Kids Rubber Stamp Set facedown in the aperture of the keyhole, then use Memento Ink to stamp it twice — once onto the image panel and once onto repositionable sticker paper.
  6. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version of Angel Girl and place it atop its counterpart on the image panel.
  7. Place the image panel onto the STAY-tion and secure with low-tack tape and/or magnets.
  8. Place the keyhole mask and the keyhole outline mask over their counterparts and sponge Galaxy Gold Brilliance Ink over the masks onto the white cardstock around the keyhole to create the brass door plate/escutcheon. Thoroughly heat set the ink.
  9. Sponge Lightning Black Brilliance Ink over the masks to add some darkness/patina to the bright gold background. Heat set.
  10. Sponge Galaxy Gold Brilliance Ink again to brighten the background a tad. Heat set.
  11. Cover the area just inked with the repositionable sticker paper mask. It will butt up against the outline mask.
  12. Remove the mask from the keyhole, but keep the mask over Angel Girl.
  13. Brush Serenade, Cotton Candy, and Blue Raspberry dye inks over the cloud mask to create a cloudy sky in the aperture of the keyhole.
  14. Remove the mask from Angel Girl and from the outline of the keyhole.
  15. Color the keyhole and Angel Girl with Copic markers.
  16. Use a clear glitter pen to add glitter to her wings and trails under her feet.
  17. Use a gold glitter pen to add gold glitter to her halo, her wings, and the trails under her feet.
  18. Use a white gel pen to add highlights to her eyes.
  19. Remove the mask from the outside of the keyhole.
  20. Trim the image panel/keyhole plate and edge with a grey marker.
  21. Use a black chalk pencil to add a slight shadow around the outline of the keyhole.
  22. Trim a piece of gold metallic cardstock so that it's slightly larger than the image panel and use it to mat the image panel.
  23. Add gold circles to the four corners of the doorplate/escutcheon.
  24. Use a wood-patterned embossing folder to emboss grey/blue cardstock.
  25. Place the embossed cardstock between copy paper and place it on the base of die-cut machine. Place two cutting plates over the copy paper and run through the die-cut machine to flatten the embossed paper slightly.
  26. Brush gold metallic ink lightly over the embossed cardstock to hit the high spots.
  27. Trim the embossed panel to 5" x 7" and adhere to the 5" x 7" grey/blue card.
  28. Edge with the card with Galaxy Gold Brilliance Ink, then heat set the card thoroughly.
  29. Choose a sentiment from the Metallic Sticker Book and place it onto an acetate block.
  30. Sponge the Serenade and Cotton Candy Dye Ink onto the sentiment sticker.
  31. Use a thin rectangle die to cut metallic gold cardstock.
  32. Adhere the sentiment sticker to the die-cut rectangle and trim it if needed.

  22. Add Detail Silver Embossing Powder to the wet ink, pour the excess powder back into the container, and melt the powder on the panel.
  23. Use a heart die to cut the stenciled, embossed white cardstock.
  24. Use the squigly/staticky line dies from the Frayed Frames Die Set 26 to cut a scrap of black cardstock so you end up with the die-cuts.
  25. Place the comic book page background on the STAY-tion.

Yippeee! Tequila!

Greetings! Today I'm sharing a project created for Topflight Stamps. It's an "Anything Goes" theme this week and since today is el Cinco de Mayo, I immediately thought of margaritas and decided to make a shaker card created with two of the ladies from the Tea Time Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp Set by Katzelkraft, the word "Tequila!" from the Relax Sentiments Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp Set by Katzelkraft, and the word "yippeee" from the Whatcha Saying? Clear Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle.

Here it is!

Instructions:
  1. Create an A6 card from Ash cardstock. Set aside.
  2. Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp two of the ladies from the Tea Time Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp Set twice — once onto white cardstock and once onto repositionable sticker paper.
  3. Color the ladies with Copic markers and outline them with a CO Copic marker.
  4. Fussy-cut the sticker paper versions of the stamped ladies and place them over their counterparts on the image panel.
  5. Place a piece of low-tack tape horizontally along the bottom of the image panel.
  6. Place the Slimline Cloud Edger stencil a little bit from the top of the image panel.
  7. Sponge Della Blue Elements Ink over the top of the stencil onto the image panel to start to create a cloudy sky.
  8. Move the stencil downwards and flip it 180°.
  9. Sponge Della Blue Elements Ink over the stencil and the masked ladies onto the image panel.
  10. Repeat Steps 7 and 8 until the cloudy sky area is complete.
  11. Move the low-tack tape so that it's on the horizon line and covering the masked ladies' legs.
  12. Sponge Twilight then Pebble Inks over the tape onto the image panel to create a ground area.
  13. Use a stipple tool and Twilight Ink to add darker grey flecks to the ground.
  14. Trim the image panel to 6" x 4.25".
  15. Use Della Blue Elements Ink and Pebble Ink to edge the image panel.
  16. Place the martini glass die from the Happy Hour Thinlits Die Set facedown slightly above the horizon line and secure it with low-tack tape.
  17. Run the image panel and the die through a die-cutting machine to create a martini-glass shaped aperture in the image panel.
  18. Use the same die to cut white cardstock.
  19. Place the martini-glass-contents die on the martini glass die-cut and secure it with low-tack tape.
  20. Run the die-cut and die through the machine to create an aperture in the martini glass.
  21. Use Copic markers to color the cardstock martini glass.
  22. Use a green glitter marker to add sparkle to the top of the glass to mimic salt. The clear glitter marker I tried initially didn't show up. Alas.
  23. Use E37 and E33 Copic markers to draw a table top under the aperture on the image panel.
  24. Use a black fineliner pen to outline the table and to add legs to it.
  25. Flip the image panel, pop the cardstock martini glass into the aperture, and secure the glass to the back of the image panel with Scotch Tape.
  26. Adhere a clear acetate panel to cover the aperture in the martini glass.
  27. Outline the aperture with foam tape to create a well on the back of the image panel.
  28. Pounce an anti-static pouch onto the acetate and the foam tape so that the shaker contents will move freely.
  29. Add the lime citrus slices to the well created in Step 24.
  30. Carefully remove the backing from the foam tape and place a second piece of acetate onto the tape to seal the shaker well.
  31. Add foam tape to the back of the card, especially around the edges.
  32. Sponge Della Blue Elements Ink onto 5.825" x 4.125" piece of white cardstock.
  33. Remove the backing from the foam tape and place the inked side of the cardstock onto the tape.
  34. Adhere the image panel to the reserved A6 card.
  35. Back a 2" x 8.5" strip of vellum with 2" Sookwang Tape and place the strip onto the base of a stamping platform.
  36. Use black StazOn ink to stamp the word "YIPPEEE" from the Whatcha Saying? Clear Stamp Set onto the vellum.
  37. Immediately clean the stamp.
  38. Use a speech bubble die to cut the vellum sentiment.
  39. Place the remainder of the vellum strip back onto the stamping platform.
  40. Place the "Tequila" sentiment from the Relax Sentiments Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp Set onto the lid of a stamping platform so that it will line up with the vellum.
  41. Use tape or a Post-It Note to cover all the words except "Tequila".
  42. Ink the stamp with black StazOn Ink, remove the tape or Post-It Note, and stamp the sentiment onto the vellum.
  43. Use another speech bubble die to cut the sentiment.
  44. Adhere both speech bubbles sentiment die cuts to finish the card.
