Halloween Gorjuss Girl card

I usually don't care for images that have no noses or mouths, but there's something about the Gorjuss Girl images that appeal to me. They're cute, but have a forlorn and edgy look that I love.

I haven't played along with SCS's Sketch Challenge in a while, so I decided to give it a go.

Here's the sketch, which I flipped by 90°.

Here's my take on the sketch.

The card features The Lost Heart. She was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with Copic markers, which I'll list below. Her barettes were touched with Orange Spica Glitter pen. Her eyes, shoes, coat button and the bear's eyes and nose were touched with a clear Gelly Glaze pen to add dimension and shine.

She was masked and Dried Marigold, Spiced Marmalade, and Rusty Hinge Distress Inks were pounced on using an odd tool I got at a stamping convention a while back. It's kind of like the Rough Stippling Brush by Art C, but the springy bristles aren't as dense.

The patterned paper is all from a Chillingsworth Manor 6x6 pad by Echo Park. The pumpkins in the pumpkin paper were colored with Copic markers to be all matchy-matchy with the image. I know matchy-matchy is not cool. Tell that to my inner Virgo control freak.

The spider webs were punched with an EK Success/Martha Stewart Border punch.

Thanks for visiting today!
