Stamping Platform
Instructions:
- Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the fat cat from the Zinski Art 47 Rubber Cling Stamp Set onto white cardstock.
- Fissy-cut her and color her with Copic markers.
- Add several layers of Clear Glaze pen to the frames and lenses of his reading glasses, letting each layer dry completely before adding another layer. You can really build dimension and shine this way.
- Cut white cardstock with the Witch Hat and hat band cutting dies from the Frightful Things Thinlits Die Set.
- Color the hat and hat band with Copic markers. Note: The hat and book are actually a deep purple irl, but photograph indigo-y.
- Adhere the witch hat to the black cat. If you look closely, you can see her ears peeking through her hat.
- Select a piece of patterned paper from the Ink Drops - Midnight 6x6 Patterned Paper Pad to match your image.
- Use the YR04 Copic marker to alter the color the veining to match the cat's glasses.
- Cut the patterned paper with one of the dies from the Roadway Vistas Die Set 78 and edge it with a black marker.
- Use the larger die from the Roadway Vistas Die Set 78 to cut orange cardstock and use it to mat the patterned paper die-cut.
- Use magnets and/or low-tack tape to secure a piece of orange cardstock to the base of a stamping platform. Be sure that the non-textured side of the cardstock is facing upwards.
- Place a 6" ruler over the cardstock and align the word "Halloween" from the Pumpkin Party Clear Stamp Set 1055 facedown towards the right side of the platform.
- Press the platform's lid onto the back of the stamp and lift.
- Remove the ruler.
- Place repositionable tape over the letters "H-O-W-L" on the stamp, ink the with the Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink, remove the tape, and stamp.
- Remove the stamp from the platform.
- Place the ruler back onto the platform as before.
- Positon the word "Meow" from the Caturday Clear Stamp Set 477 facedown to the left of "oween".
- Press the platform's lid onto the back of the "Meow" stamp and lift.
- Remove the ruler.
- Ink the stamp with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink and stamp.
- Remove the stamp and replace the ruler on the platform.
- Place the word "Happy" from the Rise Up Borders Clear Stamp Set 490 to the left of "Meowoween".
- Press the platform's lid onto the back of the stamp and lift.
- Remove the ruler.
- Ink the "Happy" stamp with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink and stamp.
- Cut the sentiment with a ribbon slide die.
- Cut black cardstock with one of the border dies included in the rayed Frames Die Set 26 .
- Cut a strip of orange cardstock and adhere the black border die-cut to it.
- Thread the matted border die through the ribbon slide sentiment die-cut.
- Adhere the border/ribbon slide combination to the large orange from the Roadway Vistas die-cut as shown.
- Adhere the witch cat atop the ribbon slide as shown.
- Measure the orange die-cut and cut black cardstock so that it's twice as wide and slightly taller than the die cut.
- Score vertically in half and fold to form a card.
- Adhere the card front to the black card.
