Namaste!

It's Tuesday, which means that it's my day to share a project created for Topflight Stamps. This week my TFS teammates and I are showcasing products from Darkroom Door. You should pop by the TFS blog throughout the week to see what the this talented group of ladies have done with this wonderful product line.

BTW, if you'd like to get 12% off your order at Topflight Stamps use THIS LINK.

I don't know if it's worldwide current events or my usual pursuit of a sense of calm, but the imagery and the sentiments included in the Meditation Cling Rubber Stamp really resonates with me.

Here's my card.

Instructions:

  1. Cut a piece of 12x12 cardstock in half. Reserve half.
  2. Score and fold the other half to form a 6" square card.
  3. Cut black cardstock to 5.75" square.
  4. Using Obsidian Amalgam Ink, stamp one of the two meditating figures from the Mediation Cling Rubber Stamp Set onto a panel of mixed media cardstock and onto a piece of the labels paper.
  5. Fussy-cut the labels version to create a mask.
  6. Place the mask over its counterpart on the image panel.
  7. Place the clouds portion of the Great Outdoors Stencil at almost the top of the image panel.
  8. Sponge light blue ink over the clouds. Move the stencil down slightly and sponge blue ink again.
  9. Repeat step #8 until you're happy with your blue cloudy sky.
  10. Clean the stencil, then repeat step #7 and step #8 using pink ink.
  11. Remove and clean the stencil. Set it aside.
  12. Place the mountain stencil where desired on the image panel and sponge green ink overtop. Remove and clean the stencil when done.
  13. Tear a 7" wide piece of cardstock, place it on the image panel, and sponge green ink overtop.
  14. Move the torn edge down and sponge again. Continue this process until you're happy with your background.
  15. Grab a tissue and rub the inked background to remove and blend the ink.
  16. Place the image panel onto the STAY-tion and use magnets to secure the Wellbeing Stencil over it.
  17. Sponge the same blue ink used on step #8 over the Wellbeing Stencil onto the image panel.
  18. Lift the stencil and clean it.
  19. Remove the mask from the image and reserve for another use.
  20. Color the image with Copic markers as desired.
  21. Trim the image panel to 5 5/8" square and edge with blue ink.
  22. Mat the image panel with the black cardstock, then adhere to the 6" square card.
