Band of Mice

Apparently the House-Mouse Designs® gang and I are in a musical mood this week. Today's card features Stampendous!' new Band of Mice House-Mouse Designs® rubber stamp with one of Stampendous' fantastic background stamps. I love these stamps because they provide such an easy way to create a perfect background for a focal image, plus they can be used on their own in so many ways.

French Country 6x6 and 8x8 Patterned Paper Pads by Graphic 45®

Instructions:

1. Cut a piece of 12" x 12" red cardstock in half. Reserve half. Score the other piece at 6" and fold to form a 6" square card. Set aside.
2. Use Tuxedo Black Memento ink to stamp the image onto white cardstock.
3. Color with Copic markers and carefully sponge Blue Sky Memento ink around the top portion of the image panel as shown. 
4. Trim panel and edge with Black Soot Distress ink.
5. Ink the Music Decor Cling stamp with Crimson Red VersaFine ink and stamp onto plain patterned paper from the 8x8 pad. 
6. Trim to 5 5/8" square and edge with Crimson Red VersaFine ink.
7. Trim the gingham patterned paper to 5.75" square and edge with Red VersaFine ink.
8. Adhere the edged gingham patterned paper to the card.
9. Adhere the music-stamped patterned paper to the card.
10. Trim small rectangles of the sunflower pattered paper and the gingham patterned paper as shown , edge with Crimson Red VersaFine ink, and adhere them to the card as shown.
11. Adhere the image panel to finish the card.
