Reach for the Stars

Greetings! It's Tuesday, my day to share a project created for Topflight Stamps. This week my teammates and I are focusing on the stars.

Low-tack Tape

Stamping Platforms

Instructions:

1. Cut a piece of Avalanche White Textured cardsock to 8.5" x 5.5", score at 4.25", and fold to form an A2 card. Set aside.
2. Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the Queen from the JOFY Mini JM70 Cling Rubber Stamp  twice — once onto white cardstock and once onto repositionable sticker paper. 
3. Use Copic markers to color the image. 
4. Fussy-cut the repositionable sticker paper version and place it over its counterpart as a mask. 
5. Place a piece of low-tack tape around the Queen's collar. 
6. Sponge or brush Violet Chalk Elements Ink by Lavinia Stamps around the masked image onto the image panel. Set the image panel aside.
7. Choose a piece of patterned paper from the Ink Drops - Midnight 6x6 Patterned Paper Pad for your background panel.
8. Trim the patterned paper to 4 x 5.25" and rub an anti-static bag on it,
9. Place the patterned paper panel onto the base of a stamping platform. 
10. Position the Ink and the Dog MN123 Cling Rubber Stamp (cluster of stars) facedown on the top right of the patterned paper background panel. 
11. Press the platform's lid onto the back of the stamp, ink the stamp with Moonlight White or Platinum Planet Brilliance ink, and stamp. 
12. Carefully remove the background panel from the platform.
13. Add crystal embossing powder, dump the excess, and heat set. 
14. Clean and dry the stamp. 
15. Place the background panel back onto the platform.
16. Press the platform's lid onto the back of the stamp, ink the stamp with Moonlight White or Platinum Planet Brilliance ink, and stamp. 
17. Carefully remove the background panel from the platform.
18. Add crystal embossing powder, dump the excess, and heat set. 
19. Clean and dry the stamp. 
20. Repeat Steps 15 - 19 until the shimmery star clusters fill the patterned paper panel.
21. Remove and clean the stamp.
22. Position the stars stamp from the Eclectica ENB02 by Nicci Battilana Rubber Cling Mounted Set facedown on the upper right of the image panel. 
23. Press the platform's lid onto the back of the stamp, ink the stamp with Champagne VersaMark Ink, and stamp.
24. Carefully remove the background panel from the stamping platform.
25. Add gold embossing powder, dump the excess, and heat set. 
26. Clean and dry the stamp.
27. Place the image panel back onto the base of the stamping platform.
28. Position the stars stamp facedown on the topleft of the image panel.
29. Press the platform's lid onto the back of the stamp, ink the stamp with Champagne VersaMark Ink, and stamp.
30. Carefully remove the background panel from the stamping platform.
31. Add gold embossing powder, dump the excess, and heat set. 
32. Clean and dry the stamp.
33. Place the image panel back onto the base of the stamping platform.
34. Position the sentiment from the Eclectica EDY08 Cling Mounted Stamp Set facedown along the bottom of the background panel. 
35. Press the platform's lid onto the back of the stamp and lift.
36. Use low-tack tape to cover the excess verbiage after "stars". 
37. Ink the stamp with Champagne VersaMark ink, remove the tape, and stamp. 
38. Add gold embossing powder, dump the excess, and heat set.
39. Set the background panel aside.
40. Place the image panel onto the base of the stamping platform.
41. Position the "Shine" stamp from the Marilyn Clear Stamp Set 47 on the upper left side of the image panel. 
42. Press the platform's lid onto the back of the stamp and lift.
43. Ink the stamp with Golden Glitz Delicata Ink and stamp. Re-ink and stamp if necessary for a good impression.
44. Sponge Golden Glitz Delicata along outside .5" perimeter of the reserved white textured  A2 card. Heat set. 
45. Cut another piece of white textured cardstock .25" larger than the image panel. 
46. Sponge Golden Glitz Delicata Ink along the outside perimeter of the panel then heat set. 
47. Use the small panel to mat the image panel.
48. Adhere the background panel to the gold A2 card. 
49. Adhere the matted image panel to complete the card.
