Have a Meowy Christmas

Greetings! It's Tuesday, my day to share a project created for Topflight Stamps! This week my teammates and I are celebrating Christmas in July!

Instructions:
  1. Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the Santa Hat from the HoliDee Clear Stamp Set 947 twice — once onto a piece of Copic-friendly cardstock and once onto repositionable sticker paper. 
  2. Fussy-cut the sticker paper hat and place it over its counterpart on the image panel as a mask. 
  3. Position the cat stamp from the Purrfect Paws Clear Stamp Set 1034 facedown on the image panel so that the top of his head is overlapping the bottom of the Santa Hat. 
  4. Ink the stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and stamp twice — once onto a piece of Copic-friendly cardstock and once onto repositionable sticker paper. 
  5. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version and place it over its counterpart on the image panel as a mask. 
  6. Place low-tack tape over the bottom part of the image panel.
  7. Use low-tack tape to secure the smallest tag die from the Tag It Yourself Die Set 27 by AALL and Create so that the opening in the tag is framing the cat. 
  8. Run the die and image panel combination through a die-cut machine.
  9. Leave the image panel in the die and sponge pink ink over the die and the masked cat onto the image panel. This will leave the stitched area outside of the tag white. 
  10. Use Fine Spray Misters by Spectrum Noir containing 91% Isopropyl Alcohol to lightly mist the opening of the tag to add some visual interest.
  11. Remove the image panel die-cut from the die. 
  12. Remove the tape from the base of the image panel. 
  13. Remove the masks from the cat and the Santa Hat.
  14. Use Copic markers to color the ground under and around the cat. 
  15. Use Copic markers to color the Santa Cat. 
  16. Add white highlights to the cat's eye with a white gel pen.
  17. Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the holly and berries from the Miss Merry Clear Stamp Set 608 onto the top part of the tag. 
  18. Use Copic markers to color the holly leaves and berries. 
  19. Use a white gel pen to add white highlights to the holly berries.  Set the image panel die-cut aside.
  20. Use second smallest tag die from the Tag It Yourself Die Set 27 to cut green plaid paper from the A Gingham Christmas 8x8 Patterned Paper Pad.
  21. Use the second largest tag die from the Tag It Yourself Die Set 27 to cut pink/red plaid paper from the A Gingham Christmas 8x8 Patterned Paper Pad
  22. Use the largest tag die from the  Tag It Yourself Die Set 27 to cut white textured cardstock.
  23. Layer and adhere the tag die-cuts as shown. 
  24. Use the nameplate die from the Taggletastic Die Set 26 to cut cut pink/red plaid paper from the A Gingham Christmas 8x8 Patterned Paper Pad.
  25. Apply temporary adhesive to the back of the plaid nameplate die-cut and adhere to a piece of scrap paper.
  26. Secure the scrap paper to the base of a stamping platform with magnets.
  27. Position the "Merry Christmas stamp from the  Miss Merry Clear Stamp Set 608 facedown on the bottom part of the nameplate die-cut.
  28. Press the platform's lid onto the back of the stamp and lift.
  29. Use low-tack tape to cover the word "Merry . 
  30. Ink the stamp with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink, remove the tape, and stamp the "Christmas" sentiment onto the nameplate die-cut. 
  31. Remove the sentiment stamp from the stamping platform's lid.
  32. Position the "Have a beautiful day" from the from the Everyday Sentiments Stamp Set 666 facedown on the top left of the nameplate die-cut.
  33. Press the platform's lid onto the back of the stamp and lift.
  34. Use low-tack tape to cover the words "a beautiful day".
  35. Ink the stamp with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink, remove the tape, and stamp "Have a" sentiment onto the nameplate die-cut.  
  36. Remove the stamp from the lid of the stamping platform.
  37. Position the word "Meow" stamp from the Caturday-Clear Stamp Set 47 facedown on the plaid nameplate die-cut to the right of the "a".
  38. Press the platform's lid onto the back of the stamp and lift.
  39. Ink the stamp with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink and stamp onto the nameplate die-cut. 
  40. Use a black Fineline pen to add a "Y" to the "Meow".
  41. Adhere the nameplate sentiment to the tag as shown.
  42. Add gemstones to cover the nameplate's holes and add a touch of bling.
  43. Punch a slot into the top of the tag.
  44. Use a RV34 Copic marker to color a red and white gingham ribbon.
  45. Stack the ribbons and thread through the slotted opening. 
  46. Add a jumpring and brass chain to the Christmas bell. 
  47. Use a brass safety pin to attach the bell embellishment to the ribbons on the tag.
