Instructions:
- Cut a piece of Desert Storm cardstock to 8" x 9". Score at 4" and fold to form a 4" x 9" card. Set aside.
- Cut a panel of Bristol paper to 4" x 9".
- Use a stamping platform and Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink to stamp the Bayleaf Cottage onto repositionable label paper and onto the panel of Bristol paper.
- Fussy-cut the label paper version and place it atop its counterpart as a mask.
- Use magnets to secure the image panel to the STAY-tion.
- Brush Violet Chalk, Della Blue, and Blue Lagoon Elements Inks over the masked image panel.
- Brush Blue Lagoon Elements Ink over the Divine Stencil.*
- Place the least curvy hill mask under the stones of the Bayleaf Cottage and brush Graphite Elements Ink over the stencil towards the base of the image panel.
- Use Rainforest VersaFine Clair Ink to stamp the Fir Tree around the masked image, using first and second generation stamping.
- Lift the mask was lifted and retain for another use.
- Use Zig Clear Color and PhotoTwin Watercolor Markers to color the Bayleaf Cottage.**
- Randomly stamp the foliage from the Floral Wreath Clear Polymer Stamp Set with Green Oasis and Verdant VersaFine Clair Ink along the bottom of the image panel.
- Trim the image panel to 3.75" x 8.75".
- Use Blue Lagoon Elements Ink to edge the panel.
- Use Purple Delight VersaFine Clair Ink to stamp "Happy Birthday" from the Heartfelt Verses Clear Polymer Stamp Set onto a left-over piece of Desert Storm cardstock.
- Heat set the ink.
- Use one of the dies from the Fancy Tags Die set to cut the sentiment.
- Use Blue Lagoon to edge the sentiment die-cut.
- Adhere the sentiment to the image panel as shown.
- Adhere the image panel to the reserved 4" x 9" card, which will fit in a #10 envelope.
Notes:
- I tried to randomly brush the ink over the stencil. I guess I'm too Virgo, because it's still very uniform. Alas!
- My first version used watercolor pencils. It was coming out okay, but then I tried to fix a mistake and ruined it. What a bummer.
