Happy Birthday from a Posh Bird

It's Tuesday, which means that it's my day to share a project created for Topflight Stamps. I've been on a bit of a bird kick so I decided to use my new Poshtrich Clear Stamp Set by Pink Ink Designs®There are ten stamps included in the set. There's the posh and fabulous ostrich below, an ostrich with his head buried in the sand, a flower, a feather, two crowns, a butterfly, and three sentiments -- all of which make this set very versatile and fun!

Here's the card.

Instructions:
  1. Use Tuxedo Black Memento ink to stamp the posh ostrich onto white cardstock.
  2. Color the image with Copic markers.
  3. Use the glitter pen to add a touch of glitter to the three dots over the flowers on her neck. Sadly, you can't see this lovely glittery touch. Bummer.
  4. Use one of the tag dies to cut the image panel.
  5. Keep the image panel inside the die and lightly sponge or brush Blueprint Sketch Distress ink over the die and onto the panel.
  6. Remove the image panel die-cut from the die and set aside.
  7. Cut a piece of 8.5" x 11" Mixed Media paper in half.
  8. Sponge or brush Blueprint Sketch Distress ink over one half of the paper.
  9. Place the inked paper onto the STAY-tion, position the Bubbles stencil as desired on the paper, and secure the stencil and the paper with the magnets.
  10. Sponge or brush Blueprint Sketch, Picked Raspberry, and Wilted Violet Distress inks over the stencil onto the paper until you're happy with the coverage.
  11. Lift the stencil and clean it and the STAY-tion. Or not. Whatever floats your particular boat.
  12. Use the largest die from the 5 x 7 Card Creator set to cut the stenciled mixed media paper to create the card front.
  13. Adhere the image panel die-cut onto the card front as shown.
  14. Edge the card front with Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink.
  15. Adhere the card front onto a white 5 x 7 card.
  16. Using Onyx Black VersaFine ink, stamp the sentiment from the Classic Sentiments Clear Set by Heffy Doodle onto the strip of unstenciled blue-sponged paper.
  17. Use a flag die to cut the sentiment.
  18. Edge the sentiment with Wilted Violet Distress ink.
  19. Adhere the sentiment as shown to finish the card.
