Instructions:
  1. Cut a piece of 8.5 x 11" cardstock in half.
  2. Score one piece at 4.25" and fold to form an A2 card. Set aside.
  3. Stamp the bird from the JOFY #15 Cling Rubber Stamp set onto white cardstock and onto mask paper.
  4. Fussy-cut the mask paper version and set aside.
  5. Color the bird on the image panel with Copic markers.
  6. Stamp the JOFY Mini 36 Bird Cage over the bird so that he's in the cage, not outside of it.
  7. Adhere the fussy-cut bird mask onto the bird on the image panel.
  8. Use magnets to secure the image panel to the STAY-tion.
  9. Sponge Arctic Mist Prism Ink over the entire image panel to change the background color.
  10. Position the PS106 Lacy Scalloped Border and Flower Design Stencil as desired over the image panel and secure the stencil with magnets.
  11. Sponge Arctic Mist Prism Ink over the stencil onto the image panel to enhance the background with a tone on tone design.
  12. Remove the stencil.
  13. Stamp the scalloped border from the  JOFY #13 Cling Rubber Stamp set towards the top of the image panel.
  14.  I decided it looked a little blah with a blank area at the top of the card, so I placed the image panel back on the STAY-tion, covered most of the image panel, and sponged Arctic Mist Prism Ink over one of the backgrounds from the Scrapcosy PS108 Small Backgrounds Stencil onto the top of the image panel.
  15. The design on the cage and the open line-work on the scalloped border were colored with Copic markers.
  16. The mask over the bird was lifted so he could see out of his cage again.
  17. The image panel was trimmed to size then edged with the Arctic Mist Prism Ink.
  18. Harlequin patterned paper from the pad was cut to 4" x 5.25", edged with Arctic Mist Prism Ink, and used to mat the image panel.
  19. The sentiment was stamped onto a scrap piece of the harlequin patterned paper, cut with a flag die,  and edged with Arctic Mist Prism ink.
  20. The sentiment was adhered as shown and the image panel was adhered to the reserved A2 card.
Thanks for visiting today!
