Cats and Dogs Challenge #200

Greetings! Here's my last card for Lost Coast Portal to Creativity's August Challenge 200 — Cats and Dogs.created with the Poky Cat and Fat Cat Rubber Stamps by Lost Coast Designs. I just celebrated my 45th anniversary, which may/may not have inspired this card. BTW, I got married when I was five years old.

Stamping Platform

Instructions:
  1. Create a 6" square card from orange cardstock. Set aside.
  2. Place a panel of white cardstock onto the stamping platform and secure with magnets and/or low-tack tape.
  3. Position the Poky Cat Rubber Stamp facedown onto the left side of the image panel. 
  4. Press the platform's lid onto the back of the stamp, lift,  ink the stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, and stamp onto the image panel.
  5. Place a piece of repositionable sticker paper over the image panel, re-ink the stamp, and stamp again.
  6. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version of the Poky Cat and place it over its counterpart on the image panel as a mask.
  7. Position the Fat Cat  facedown on the image panel to the right of the stamped  Poky Cat.
  8. Press the platform's lid onto the back of the stamp, lift,  ink the stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, and stamp onto the image panel.
  9. Place a piece of repositionable sticker paper over the image panel, re-ink the stamp, and stamp again.
  10. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version of the Fat Cat and place it over its counterpart on the image panel as a mask.
  11. Place a piece of repositionable scotch tape horizontally across the image panel, covering Poky Cat and Fat Cat's paws and the bottom of the image panel.
  12. Brush Tranquil (blue) dye ink over over the masked images. 
  13. Use a rounded rectangle from the Deckle Die Set to cut the image panel.
  14. Lift the masks and the tape from the image panel.
  15. Use Copic markers to color the cats and the areas around and below Poky Cat and Fat Cat's paws.
  16. Use Tranquil Ink to edge the top part of the image panel.
  17. Use T5 Copic marker was used to edge the bottom part of the image panel.
  18. Use a Deckle Rectangle Die and a Sentiment Label Die to cut orange patterned paper.
  19. Mat the image panel with the Deckle Rectangle Die. 
  20. Adhere a sticker sentiment to the sentiment label die.
  21. Layer patterned papers as shown and trim to 5.75" square to create the background panel.  
  22. Use a dark Copic marker to edge the top part of the background panel.
  23. Adhere the matted image panel and the sentiment  to the background panel, then adhere them to the reserved orange 6" card. 
  24. Add black rhinestones to the sentiment label to finish the card.
