Instructions:
- Cut a piece of kraft cardstock to 10" x 7". Score at 5" and fold to form a 5" x 7" card. Set aside.
- Stamp the coffee cup from the Coffee Time Red Rubber Cling Stamp Set with Salvaged Patina Distress ink onto white cardstock.
- Use Copic markers to color the cup.
- Fussy-cut the cup and use the BG13 marker to edge it to get rid of those unsightly white edges.
- Stamp the cup onto a piece of label paper.
- Fussy-cut the label paper around the top front edge, the handle, and the bottom of the cup.
- Place the label paper around the cup so that the front of the cup is exposed.
- Use Salvaged Patina Distress ink to stamp the Herringbone Texture Red Rubber Cling Stamp onto the front of the cup.
- Place the cup way out of the line of fire.
- Cut a piece of White Bristol paper in half.
- Lightly mist one half of the Bristol paper with water.
- Spray the damp Bristol paper with Antique Linen Distress Oxide Spray to create the background panel.
- Heat set.
- Press a pouncy tool into the Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink.
- Randomly pounce the inked pouncy tool onto the background panel to add spots and splats to it.
- Heat set.
- Trim the background panel to 4.75" wide.
- Use magnets to secure the background panel to the base of a stamping platform.
- Place the Abstract 12 Red Rubber Cling Stamp facedown along the bottom edge of the panel.
- Press the lid of the platform onto the back of the stamp and lift.
- Ink the stamp with Barn Door Distress Oxide ink and stamp. Re-ink and stamp again if necessary to achieve a good impression.
- Heat set the border and trim it from the background panel.
- Use Barn Door Distress Oxide ink to edge the border and heat set.
- Using Antique Linen Distress ink, randomly stamp the Clocks Texture Red Rubber Cling Stamp onto the Oxided background panel.
- Use Antique Linen Distress ink to stamp the the Herringbone Texture Red Rubber Cling Stamp around the edges and between the clock backgrounds.
- Heat set the background panel.
- Adhere the border panel to the base of the background panel.
- Edge the entire panel with Barn Door Distress Oxide ink and thoroughly heat set.
- Use magnets to again secure the background panel to the base of a stamping platform.
- Place the "take time" sentiment from the Coffee Time Red Rubber Cling Stamp Set facedown on the background panel where desired.
- Press the lid of the platform onto the back of the stamp and lift.
- Ink the stamp with Barn Door Distress Oxide ink and stamp. Re-ink and stamp again if necessary to achieve a good impression.
- Heat set the sentiment.
- Adhere the stamped and colored coffee-cup to the front of the card as shown.
- Use a steam-curl die to cut tan vellum.
- Adhere the steam die-cut over the coffee cup to finish the card.
