Let's Do the Time Warp Again!

It's Tuesday which is my day to share a project created for Topflight Stamps! This week's theme is "Anything Goes". More than 60 years ago, I fancied myself somewhat of a hippie, so I had to get Little Hippie Clear Stamp Set 511 by Janet Klein because it made me feel nostalgic. These days I'm a lot more like Janet's Miss Dee, albeit fatter and saggier, though I still dress in jeans and tee shirts! When I saw the  Hippie Dee Clear Stamp Set 781 by Janet Klein for AALL and Create, I ordered when it was available.

Here's my card that combines both sets!

Instructions:
  1. Cut a piece of Avalanche cardstock in half. Score at 4.25" and fold to form an A2 card. Set aside.
  2. Use Obsidian Amalgam Ink to stamp Hippie Dee from the Hippie Dee Clear Stamp Set 781 and the Young Hippie from the Little Hippie Clear Stamp Set 511 a piece of Neenah cardstock.
  3. Color both hippies with Copic markers, fussy-cut them, and edge them with a black pen.
  4. Use a silver gel pen was used to color Hippie Dee's belt buckle.
  5. Add silver pearls to Hippie Dee's ears to cover the stamped earrings.
  6. Set Little Hippie and Hippie Dee aside away from the crafting surface. They'll be much safer there and will keep each other company.
  7. Use magnets to secure the Abundance Stencil over a 4" x 5.25" piece of white mixed media paper on the STAY-tion.
  8. Cover the bottom of the card with a piece of repositionable Scotch Tape.
  9. Place a ruler vertically 2" from the left edge of the mixed media paper covering the right side of the stencil.
  10. Brush Blue Atoll Elements Ink over the ruler and the stencil onto the left side of the background panel.
  11. Move the ruler so that it covers the left 2" of the background panel.
  12. Brush  Blue Lagoon Elements Ink over ruler and the stencil onto the right side of the panel.
  13. Remove the stencil, ruler, and the tape.
  14. Clean the stencil and the ruler. I use hand sanitizer as it's works fabulously.
  15. Place the clean ruler horizontally so that it covers the top portion of the background panel.
  16. Brush Dark Denim Elements Ink over the ruler onto the bottom part of the background panel.
  17. Use Blue LagoonBlue Atoll, and Dark Denim Elements Ink to edge their respective parts of the background panel.
  18. Heat set the background panel to make the ink is completely dry.
  19. Adhere Flower Dancing Washi Tape 2 across the bottom of the background panel leaving space above and below the tape.
  20. Adhere the background panel to the reserved white A2 card.
  21. Adhere both the Little Hippie and Hippie Dee as shown.
  22. Use the stamping platform and Dark Denim Elements Inkto stamp the "Time Warp" sentiment from the Time Warp Clear Stamp Set 472  onto a piece of white cardstock.
  23. Use the small label die to cut the sentiment.
  24. Adhere the sentiment die-cut to the top of the card as shown.
  25. Use Pink Diamond Sparkle Gemstones by Hunkydory Crafts to cover the two holes on the sentiment die-cut.
