National Tequila Day!

Today is National Tequila Day and I've created a tag for Topflight Stamps. I like discovering and learning about weird holidays and have found a plethora of them on line. National Tequila Day might be one of my favorites. Here's what the Holiday Insights website says about the holiday.
"National Tequila Day is today. Drink the strong and potent distilled sap of the succulent Blue Agave plant. It is important to know, that not just any agave plant will do. It must be specifically from the Blue Agave plant. As you enjoy a margarita, or a shot or two of tequila today, You have the blue agave plant to be thankful for.

Agave plants can be grown in any hot, arid area. By Mexican law, Tequila can only be made from the Blue Agave plant grown specifically in and around Tequila, Mexico, and a few select areas nearby. To meet demand for Tequila, over 300 million plants are harvested a year!

The word "Tequila" has its roots in the Arabic word "Thaquila", which means heavy and strong.

One Tequila, two Tequila, three Tequila floor. Lift your Margarita or shot glass in celebration of National Tequila Day !"

Instructions:
  1. Use the largest die from the Tag Framelits set to cut black cardstock. Set aside.
  2. Use Tuxedo Black Memento ink to stamp the upward-looking bunny from The Bunnies Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp Set by Katzelkraft onto white cardstock.
  3. Cut a little slit on the top of his hand so he could hold his margarita. Fussy-cut the rest of the image.
  4. Color him with Copic markers, edge with a dark marker, and set him aside. He won't be bored because he'll have a margarita die-cut to keep him amused.
  5. Use the margarita charm from the Cheers Glass Charm Die Set to cut a scrap of 140 lb. Mixed Media cardstock.
  6. Color the margarita with Copic markers.
  7. Use the Quickie Glue Pen to add glue to the rim of the glass.
  8. Add glitter, shake off the excess, and let dry next to the bunny.
  9. Use the 2" brayer to apply Sundance and Pine Elements Inks by Lavinia Stamp to the 5" x 7" Gel Press.
  10. Place a piece of 140 lb. Mixed Media paper onto the Gel Press and pull the print.
  11. Dip a paint brush into a pot of diluted turquoise Brusho Crystal Colors and splatter the Gel  Press Print. Dab the droplets with the edge of a paper towel.
  12. Repeat step #10 with Cobalt Brusho Crystal Colors.
  13. Trim the gel press print to 2.875" x 5.25".
  14. Use Pine Elements Ink to stamp the  Background Clocks Solo Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp onto the trimmed gel press print.
  15. Use Onyx Black VersaFine Ink to stamp the tequila sentiment from the Relax Sentiments Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp Set onto a scrap of the leftover gel press printed background.
  16. Trim the sentiment panel to 2.875".
  17. Use Black Soot Distress Ink to edge the sentiment strip and the tag background.
  18. Add Striped Washi Tape and the Take Risks Dark Washi Tape #31 by AALL and Create wto the base of the background panel.
  19. Adhere the background panel to the black tag.
  20. Adhere the bunny and margarita tag.
  21. Thread ribbon through the tag's hole to finish it all up.
