Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop -- Card #3!

It's Tuesday which means it's my day to share a project created for Topflight Stamps. The Spring/Summer 2021 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop is still running and Topflight Stamps is a Super-Sponsor! Be sure to check out the store for all the coffee themed products available as well as all the wonderful new products.

I wanted to show the versatility of  the To Go cup from the Coffee and Tea To Go Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp Set by Katzelkraft. It's got that open space that is crying out for a stamped image, so I decided to add one of the super-caffeinated looking meerkats from the Meerkat Madness Clear Polymer Stamp Set by Hobby Art Ltd.

Here's the card which has an Action Wobble!

Here's the movie. Maybe.

Instructions:
  1. Using Tuxedo Black Memento ink, stamp the Coffee To Go Cup onto white cardstock and onto a  a Post-It Note.
  2. Fussy-cut the bottom of the Coffee to Go Cup to use as a mask.
  3. Use magnets to secure the image panel to the base of the stamping platform.
  4. Several of the meerkats from the Meerkat Madness Clear Polymer Stamp Set fit the front of the cup and most had the proper super-alert expression but I selected the bowtie meerkat stamp. Place the stamp facedown onto the cup, press the lid onto the stamp, lift, ink with Memento, and stamp.
  5.  Fussy-cut the Manic Meerkat Coffee To Go Cup and set aside.
  6. Place  the Super Hero Rays 6x6 Stencil onto a piece of beige-ish/tannish cardstock and secure with magnets.
  7. Working from the center outwards, sponge Blue Lagoon, Mermaid, and Sundance Elements Dye Inkover the stencil onto the cardstock.
  8. Keep the Super Hero Rays 6x6 Stencil in place, then position the Coffee Beans 6x6 Stencil on top of it and sponge Henna Elements Dye Ink over both stencils onto the cardstock. I should note that these inkpads are especially juicy, so after inking the foam applicator, I dabbed ink off onto a piece of scrap paper. However, their very juiciness is what allowed me to apply ink through two stencils!
  9. Since the Coffee To Go Cup had not yet been colored, you can choose your colors based on the stenciled paper.
  10. Use Copic markers to color the meerkat and the cup accordingly.
  11. Trim the stenciled background paper and mat with brown cardstock that is cut slightly larger.
  12. Adhere the matted background paper to a green 5" square card.
  13. Use the same inks to color the white Snarky Small Talk Sticker and adhere to the card for the sentiment.
  14. Use an Action Wobble to adhere the colored fussy-cut Coffee To Go Cup to the front of the card.
Thanks for visiting today!
