Hump Day Halloween Blog Hop!

It's time for Bombshell's monthly Hump Day Hop. We're thrilled that October's Hump Day Hop is on Halloween!!

Alison, our lovely Hump Day Hop Captain, decided to make the theme Black & White Halloween. Here's what she had to say about the hop!

It's October! My favorite month of the year! So of course I HAD to do a Halloween theme. But, this isn't just Halloween. It has a twist. For this Hump Day Hop, I want you to create a "Black and White" Halloween project. "Black & White Halloween" can be very elegant or very creepy. If you wish, you can use one additional color, other than skin or hair tones. You can take this a step further and do a Dia de los Muertos project, but remember! You can only use one additional color besides black and white

I'm your last stop on the hop! You should have gotten here from Mari's Blog!

Here's mine!

I used the Witch Costume from the Halloween Costume Digital Stamp set. These costumes and many more, go with Bombshell Angel set, which is a lovely deeply etched rubber set.

The witch and her costume were colored with Copic markers, which I'll list below. Her buckle was touched with a Pitch Black Copic Glitter Pen. Nestabilities dies were used to cut the witch piece. I cut a mask for her and the sponged Black Soot Distress ink over the masked witch and the Nestabilities die. I tried to make the dress look like it had a sheer black bodice and sleeves. I added sheer stockings too make her look a little edgier.

The patterned papers that I used are from the Chillingsworth Manor 6x6 pad by Echo Park. I see it sold out, but you can get loads of other holiday themed 6x6 pads HERE. I used a Martha Stewart Lace punch to add a bit of interest to the horizontal layer.

The sentiment was computer generated and die cut with a Spellbinders Nestabilities Circle die (Spellbinders dies are on sale right now!). I used SCACD's Ornate Hinge die to hold the sentiment in place. I added a second one because I could. :D Zva Creative Short Lines Rhinestones were added to the hinges' holes and to add a touch of color and bling!

Oops. I forgot to mention that the ribbon was from Michael's. It's sheer and Halloweeny and blingy too! Gotta love that!

Thanks for visiting today and don't eat too much of your kids' Halloween Candy!
