Happy Haunting!

I freely admit that I have a decidedly dark side that enjoys taking lovely sweet images and making them a bit edgy.

Here's an example!

The little girl is called I Want Candy by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD. She was stamped using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with Copic markers, which I'll list below. Her eyes were touched with Lipstick Red Copic Spica Glitter pen to give them an eerie wicked sparkle and then again with Gelly Roll Clear Glaze pen to add dimension and shine. Sadly, the photo doesn't show that aspect. :(

Her lollipop stick was also coated with Gelly Roll Clear Glaze pen to add dimension and shine. The candy part of the lollipop was colored with Copic markers, a confetti skull was adhered, and the entire thing was coated with a layer of Glossy Accents. I put this entire piece aside to dry and started to assemble the rest of the card.

The graveyard scene was die cut using Spellbinders' Graveyard Scene & Shapes, then colored with Copic markers. You should know that Spellbinders dies are on sale at SCACD.

Some green cardstock was torn for the grass and navy cardstock was used for the sky. Some fun glittery ravens were added to the tombstones in the foreground. By then, the little girl's lollipop was dry, so I fussy cut it and added her to the spooky scene.

The sentiment was computer generated, sponged with ink, then folded, cut into a banner shape, and adhered with dimensionals.

Thanks for visiting today! BTW, if you like "Spooky", you just might want to check out the Hearts & Hugs blog on Friday. Just sayin'.
