Greetings! It's Tuesday which means it's time to share a project created for Topflight Stamps. It's an "Anything Goes" week over at the Topflight Stamps blog. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed lately and crave calm and quiet so I decided to make a snarky card celebrating silence with mostly products by AALL and Create.
Here's my card made with the Pierrot and Mime Clear Stamp Set 1210 by Janet Klein, Penned With Love Die Set 71, Garden Frames Di Set DI-80, Stemmed Pouch Die Set DI-83, Laugh Lines Ephemera Set 47, and Washi Tape 5 — all by AALL and Create.

I also created the card to show that you can use AALL and Create's fabulous Memorydex Die Sets to create regular cards. Plus, there are so many fun and useful "extra" dies in the sets that increase the Memorydex Die Sets' versatility.
Instructions:
- Create an A6 card from Red Devil cardstock. Set aside.
- Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the Mime from the Pierrot and Mime Clear Stamp Set 1210 onto white cardstock.
- Fussy-cut the Mime, color with Copic markers, and edge with a black pen.
- Use a white gel pen to add highlights to his eyes.
- Set him aside. He'll be okay on his own. He's comfortable with silence.
- Use the main die from the Stemmed Pouch Die Set DI-83 to cut white ledger patterned paper, which will leave a horizontal strip of patterned paper.
- Edge the die-cut with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink.
- Adhere Washi Tape 5 to the strip of patterned paper, choosing the word or phrase you want to highlight. I chose "Possible" because it's possible to get more done and stay out of trouble if you keep your mouth shut. Just sayin'.
- Adhere striped and heart washi tape below the AALL Washi-tape strip.
- Place the largest die from the Garden Frames Die Set DI-80 facedown over the die so that the top of the die is framing the word of your choice.
- Use low-tack tape to secure the die in place, then run the die and paper/tape combo through your die-cut machine.
- Trim the bottom off of the paper and edge the piece with a black pen.
- Adhere this die-cut/washi-tape panel to the bottom of the Stemmed Pouch Die Set DI-83 die-cut panel.
- Adhere the fussy-cut, colored Mime to the top of the die-cut/washi-tape panel as shown.
- Cut a piece of black striped 6x6 patterned paper to 4.25" wide to create the background panel and edge with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink.
- Adhere the image panel die-cut to the bottom of the patterned paper background panel.
- Use the heart pen nib die from the Penned With Love Die Set 71 to cut excess red cardstock two times.
- Adhere a heart pen nib die-cut to each of the top corners so that each nib is pointing diagonally downwards.
- Use Strawberry VersaFine Clair Ink to edge the "Silence is golden. Duct tape is silver" sentiment from the Laugh Lines Ephemera Set 47.
- Adhere the ephemera sentiment as shown to finish the card.
