Stamping Platform

Instructions:
  1. Using a stamping platform and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, stamp the Mr. Foreteller Cling Rubber Stamp onto white cardstock.
  2. Keep the stamp on the lid of the stamping platform.
  3. Fussy-cut Mr. Foreteller.
  4. Color Mr. Foreteller with Copic markers.
  5. Edge the fussy-cut image with a black marker and set it aside.
  6. Cut a panel of mixed media cardstock to 4.5" x 6" to create the background panel.
  7. Sponge or brush Sandcastle and Cashmere Catherine Pooler dye inks randomly onto the panel.
  8. Sponge or brush Dark Denim and Mermaid Elements Inkrandomly onto the panel.
  9. Mist the panel Ink Potion No. 9 to blend and mottle the colors. (Misted water will also work). Heat set the panel.
  10. Place the panel onto the base of the stamping platform, secured with magnets or tape. (I use both.)
  11. Use Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink to ink the Mr. Foreteller Cling Rubber Stamp, which is still on the lid of the stamping platform, and stamp.
  12. Re-ink and stamp again if necessary to attain a clean impression.
  13. Remove the panel from the stamping platform and heat set.
  14. Place the smallest circle mask from the Acetate Circle Masks Set over the center of the compass.
  15. Tap a gold Uni-Posca paint pen to splatter the panel with gold metallic acrylic paint.
  16. Remove and clean the Acetate Circle Masks. Heat set the panel.
  17. Pour a bit of water into a small receptacle (I used a tiny cup that is usually used for condiments. My sushi place sends them with packets of soy sauce).
  18. Shake Alizarin Crimson and Brilliant Red Brusho Crystal Colors into the water, stir, and use a clean toothbrush or a paint brush to add red splatter to the panel to bring out the scarf color. Heat set the  panel.
  19. Use a black chalk pencil to outline Mr. Foreteller on the background panel then use a cotton bud to soften the chalk lines.
  20. Adhere the fussy-cut Copic colored Mr. Foreteller over his counterpart on the background panel.
  21. Trim the background panel then use a scissor blade to distress the edges of the panel.
  22. Adhere the panel to blue cardstock cut slightly larger than the image/background panel, then adhere to a black card.
Note:
This image/card could be used as a birthday card, a bon voyage card, or a "keep on keepin' on" sort of card. I haven't decided what I'll use it for yet, hence no sentiment.

Thank you for visiting today!
