Jump for Joy -- Another Pink and Red Card!

Public Service Announcement!
There's a great stencil sale going on right now at Topflight Stamps!

Now for the featured project!

This week the Topflight Stamps team has a color challenge! We're using Pink and Red. I was so inspired by the color scheme that I've made two cards for the challenge.

Here's my second card for the week that was created with the Tomorrow Doesn't Exist Clear Polymer Stamp Set by Visible Image, the Dynamic 8x8 Stencil by Lavinia Stamps, the Smile Stencil by Darkroom Door, and Emperor Red Elements Ink by Lavinia Stamps.

Instructions:
  1. Create a 6" square card from Red Devil cardstock. Set aside,
  2. Pounce an anti-static panel onto a 6" x 8" panel of mixed media cardstock.
  3. Using a stamping platform, position the jumping girl from the Tomorrow Doesn't Exist Clear Polymer Stamp Set on the top right of the panel.
  4. Ink the stamp with VersaMark or other embossing ink. Stamp the image.
  5. Re-ink the stamp with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink and stamp again. Repeat if necessary to attain a good solid impression.
  6. Add clear detail embossing powder, dump the excess back into its container, and heat set.
  7. Sponge or brush Cotton Candy and Spun Sugar Distress inks over the entire image panel to create a pink background.
  8. Use a Fine Spray Mister to mist the inked panel with water to add some splotches.
  9. Use magnets or low-tack tape to secure the Dynamic 8x8 Stencil onto the image panel.
  10. Sponge or brush the same pink inks over the stencil to create a subtle tone-on-tone background. Remove the stencil.
  11. Use magnets or low-tack tape to secure the Smile Stencil over the image panel as desired.
  12. Sponge or brush Emperor Red Elements Ink over the stencil onto the image panel.
  13. Remove the stencil and trim the image panel to 5.625" square. You'll note that I cut off quite a bit of the stencil, but I wanted to keep the "Jump for Joy" sentiment.
  14. Use Emperor Red Elements Ink to edge the panel.
  15. Use a black pigment ink pen to edge the panel.
  16. Trim a piece of black cardstock to 5.75" square use it to mat the image panel.
  17. Adhere the matted image panel to the front of the reserved red 6x6 card.
  18. Use the Quickie Glue Pinpoint Roller Pen to adhere tiny shiny black star and burst sequins as shown to finish the card.
