Instructions:
- Create an A6 card from blue cardstock. Set aside.
- Place a panel of white cardstock onto the stamping platform.
- Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the Cityscape Small at the bottom of the panel and the Flying Pig 2 towards the top right of the image panel.
- Stamp both the Cityscape Small and Flying Pig 2 a second time onto repositionable sticker paper.
- Use Copic markers to color both the Cityscape Small and Flying Pig 2.
- Fussy-cut the sticker paper versions and place them over their counterparts on the image panel as masks.
- Brush Limoncello (yellow) ink horizontally over the masked cityscape onto the image panel.
- Brush It's a Girl ink (pink) horizontally over the masked cityscape onto image panel overlapping the yellow ink at the top.
- Brush Suede Shoes ink (blue) horizontally over the top of the image panel and the masked pig.
- Brush Stone Blue (lighter blue) horizontally over the bottom part of the blue ink, across the masked pig, and overlapping the pink ink.
- Mist the inked background with Isopropyl Alcohol which will mottle the ink without pilling the paper.
- Lift the masks, trim the image panel, and edge it with the black pigment pen.
- Mat the image panel with black cardstock.
- Adhere the matted image panel to the reserved blue A6 card.
Please note: I didn't add a sentiment to the card because I haven't decided what kind of card it should be. The design could be used for birthday, encouragement, celebrate, or a Bon Voyage card.
You still have time to create a Bright and Cheerful card, post it, and join our January Challenge!
so fabulous, love the masking and blending.
