It's Tuesday, which means it's time to share a project created for Topflight Stamps. Since it's January of a new year, I decided to create a calendar using the Nip and Duck Clear Photopolymer Stamp Set by Pink Ink Designs with a background created with the Twirling Tendrils Stencil #88 by AALL and Create using Periwinkle and Apple Green Prism Ink by Hunkydory Crafts applied with Black Blending Brushes by Time for Tea Designs.
Here's the calendar. Please note that the smaller ducks are in a row. I like them like that.

Instructions:
- Using a stamping platform, stamp the larger of the two decorative ducks from the Nip and Duck Clear Photopolymer Stamp Set onto mixed media white cardstock and onto repositionable label paper.
- Fussy-cut the duck and place it over its counterpart as a mask.
- Use magnets to secure the image panel onto the STAY-tion.
- Place the ruler from the STAY-tion horizontally over the duck's feet and brush Periwinkle Prism ink over the masked duck to create a blue background.
- Use magnets to secure the Twirling Tendrils Stencil #88 over the top left of the image panel.
- Brush Periwinkle Prism ink over the stencil onto the background to add visual interest. When done, move the stencil to cover the bottom right of the image panel, secure with magnets, and brush Periwinkle Prism ink over it.
- Cover the top part of the image panel and brush Apple Green Prism ink over the base of the image panel.
- Position the layering stencil where desired and secure it with magnets. Brush Apple Green Prism ink over the stencil.
- Remove the image panel from the STAY-tion.
- Use Copic markers to add grassy bits to the inked green area.
- At the furthest right of the stamp positioner, place the left-facing silhouette duck face-down so that he's standing atop the ruler. Press the stamp lid into the stamp and lift.
- Secure the image panel with two magnets, ink the stamp with VersaFine ink, and stamp. Repeat if necessary to get a good impression.
- Slide the image panel 1.25" to the left and repeat step #11.
- Repeat step #13 until you have a row of nicely stamped ducks. It's so important to keep those ducks in a row these days. Especially these days. Especially if you're a Virgo. Like me.
- Remove the image panel from the stamping platform.
- Use an Inkssentials Cut n Dry Pen Nibs and the VersaFine ink to touch up any areas that you missed whilst stamping. You want your ducks to be solid black silhouettes.
- Heat set the row of ducks, which won't hurt them. They just need to be totally dry for the next step.
- Add their eyes using a white Gelly Roll gel pen.
- Lifted the mask and reserved for a later use.
- Color the beautiful large duck with Copic markers.
- Use Glitter pens to accent the dots in and around the duck and to add purple glittery eyeshadow.
- Trim the image panel and mat with pink cardstock cut 1/8" larger than the image panel.
- Adhere two pieces of black cardstock together, trim to 1/4" larger than the pink cardstock. Use to mat the matted image panel.
- Using VersaFine ink, stamp the half flower from the set onto pink cardstock which was trimmed so that the calendar would fit on it.
- Heat set the flower on the pink panel, then mat with black cardstock cut 1/8" larger.
- Adhere the matted pink panel to the image panel as shown.
- Use strong tape or glue to adhere the calendar to the pink cardstock.
