Happy Thanksgiving (From the Three of Us)

It's Tuesday, which means it's time to share a project created for Topflight Stamps. My cats have been seriously cute lately and Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching. Since celebrations will be curtailed, it will only be the three of us and the two cats, who (oddly) don't eat people food. Anyway, the cats and holidays inspired me to create a cat-themed Thanksgiving card using the Kooky Cats Cling Rubber Stamp Set and the Little Kooky Cat Rubber Cling Stamp by Kate Crane for Carabelle Studios.

Here's the card:

Instructions:
  1. Use magnets to secure a piece of white cardstock onto the stamping platform.
  2. Position both Kooky Cats stamps face down on the white cardstock, leaving room between them for the Little Kooky Cat.
  3. Press the lid of the stamping platform onto the stamps, lift, ink the stamps, and stamp. Repeat if necessary for a clear impressions.
  4. Place a piece of Removable Label paper onto the platform (over the image panel), re-ink the stamps, and stamp.
  5. Fussy-cut the label version masks and place over their counterparts on the image panel.
  6. Remove the stamps from the stamping platform and clean.
  7. Position the Small Kooky Cat stamps face down on the white cardstock between the two masked large Kooky Cats.
  8. Press the lid of the stamping platform onto the stamp, lift, ink the stamps, and stamp. Repeat if necessary for a clear impression.
  9. Place a piece of Removable Label paper onto the platform (over the image panel), re-ink the stamp, and stamp.
  10. Fussy-cut the label version mask and place over the small Kooky Cat. Now all three images should be masked.
  11. Remove the image panel from the stamping platform and secure it to the STAY-tion with magnets.
  12. Place the magnetic ruler across the cats' paws.
  13. Brush Pale Ochre Archival ink over the masked cats.
  14. Use the magnets to secure the Profusion stencil over the top part of the image.
  15. Brush Pale Ochre Archival ink over the stencil and the image panel.
  16. Remove the Profusion stencil and clean.
  17. Shift the ruler so that it's covering the top part of the coffee cup/parrot image.
  18. Brush London Fog Memento ink over the bottom of the image panel.
  19. Use magnets to secure the Remember This Story Stencil over the bottom part of the image panel.
  20. Repeat Step #18.
  21. Quickly realize that you have neglected to cover the top part of the image panel and got some words stenciled in grey onto the yellow background.
  22. Decide that perfection is overrated. Stencil some words here and there along the top portion of the card.
  23. Realize that you had inadvertently stenciled over the edge of the stencil and now have a horizontal line across the image panel.
  24. Decide that you're having a tough day, to embrace imperfection, and brush some horizontal and vertical lines randomly here and there.
  25. Remove all the masks and color the images with Copic markers, using the plaid patterned paper as color inspiration.
  26. Add several layers of Clear Glaze Pen over the glasses and frames on the Little Kooky Cat.
  27. Add clear Wink of Stella Glitter pen to the wings on the cat on the right.
  28. Trim the image panel and edge with grey ink.
  29. Trim the patterned paper to 4.75" x 6.75" and adhere to a grey 5x7 card.
  30. Secure a piece of cat-paw patterned paper to the stamping platform with magnets.
  31. Position the sentiment face down onto the patterned paper.
  32. Press the platform's lid onto the stamp, lift the stamp, ink with Onyx Black VersaFine ink, and stamp the image. Repeat the inking and stamping steps if needed to get a good impression.
  33. Use a die to cut the sentiment.
  34. Edge the sentiment die-cut with grey ink and adhere to the image panel to finish the card.
