Leaves Falling Tag

It's definitely autumn here with most of the leaves on the ground, a chill in the air, and Thanksgiving next week.  I decided it's time to share a tag created with Stampendous!' Leaves Falling Rubber Stamp and Build a Wreath Die Set.

Here it is! I know that the wreath is a bit off center, but then again, so am I!

Mixed Media White Paper

Other Products Used:
Barn Door, Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Carved Pumpkin, Rusty Hinge, Twisted Citron, Crushed Olive, and Mowed Lawn Distress® Oxide Ink by Tim Holtz® for Ranger Industries
Black Soot Distress® Ink by Tim Holtz® for Ranger Industres
Black Staples Square Tag by Graphic 45®
Staples Square Tag Die by Graphic 45®
Raffia
Stamping Platform

Instructions:
  1. Cut a sheet of Mixed Media White Paper in half.
  2. Randomly sponge Barn Door, Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Carved Pumpkin, Rusty Hinge Distress Oxide inks onto one half of the Mixed Media paper.
  3. Spritz with water, heat set.
  4. Repeat steps #4 and #5 until happy with the results.
  5. Heat set until bone dry, then heat set some more.
  6. Using the Staples Square Tag die, cut the Oxide inked paper.
  7. Edge with Black Soot Distress Ink.
  8. Secure the tag to the base of the Stamping Platform with magnets.
  9. Place the sentiment face down where desired. Press the platform's cover into the foam, and lift.
  10. Ink the stamp with Nocturne VersaFine Clair and stamp.
  11. Randomly sponge Wild  Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Rusty Hinge, Twisted Citron, Crushed Olive, and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxides onto the other half of the Mixed Media paper.
  12. Spritz with water, heat set.
  13. Repeat steps #11 and #12until happy with the results.
  14. Use the oak leaf from the Build a Wreath die set to cut a bunch of leaves.
  15. Use the circle fromt he Build a Wreath die set to die-cut a scrap of cardstock. The color doesn't much matter as it will be covered.
  16. Adhere the circle to the tag framing the sentiment.
  17. Adhere the leaves as shown to form a wreath around the sentiment.
  18. Adhere the tag to the premade black tag.
  19. Thread the hole of the tag with raffia.
