Chessy was stamped twice with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (Imagine Crafts), colored with Copic markers, fussy-cut, then edged with a Black Multiliner pen. The Chessys took a cat nap together while I created a background for them.
The inspiration for my background is the song, Our House. Green patterned paper, from the Penny Lane collection (My Mind's Eye) was die-cut with the dies from the Stitched Scene Builder Edgers die set (Frantic Stamper). The die-cuts were layered, sponged with Forest Moss Distress ink (Ranger), and adhered to blue patterned paper from the same collection, and cut to size. The cut was a bit wonky, so I distressed the edges. Smooth white cardstock was die-cut was with both the Country House die (Memory Box) and the Sunny Sun die (Die-namics). Both die-cuts were colored with Copic markers then adhered to the card front. White textured cardstock was die-cut with the one of the words from the Smile die set (Cherry Lynn Designs) and then adhered. I seem to have lost the dot on the i, so I will add it before sending the card and atc on their long journey.
The Heart String die (Penny Black) was used to die-cut red cardstock. A craft knife was used to free violet/grey Chessy's left paw. The Chessys were adhered to the card front and the Heart String die cut was tucked under their paws. The Chessys' eyes, teeth, and the windows of the house received Several layers of Clear Gelly Glaze pen (Sakura) to add dimension and shine.
Thanks for visiting today!
I shall enter this card into the following challenges:
