Bombshell Stamp's Hump Day Hop!

It's the last Wednesday of the month, which means it's time for Bombshell Stamps' Hump Day Hop! Alison, our Hump Day Head Hottie, has issued this month's theme, which is "Baby, it's cold outside!"

Here's what she said about this month's hop theme:
It's time to announce the January 2013 Hump Day Hop theme! I don't know about you, but I am cold!!! That's why I decided to make this month's theme "Baby, it's Cold Outside." Make a winter themed project, use the title of the hop as a sentiment, dress your Bombshell up in warm clothes (or not!), etc.

This is the last stop in the hop. I hope you got here from Glittery Katie's blog where you most likely saw something totally gorgeous!

Here's my card.

Here's the sketch I used:

And here's my longwinded narrative on the creation of the card. My card features the Bombshell Pin-Up from the Bombshell Angel set, the Jockey Outfit from the Fantasy Bombshell Digital set, and the Santa hat from the Holiday Accessory set.

A small piece of removable Scotch Tape was placed over the top ofBombshell Pin-Up's head, the stamp was inked, the tape was removed, and I stamped her head and neck. Using my Stamp-a-Ma-Jig, I positioned the Santa hat atop her head. I drew in her bangs using a Copic Multi-liner, then colored her hair, face, neck, and Santa Hat using Copic markers.

Using PhotoElements, I erased the riding crop from the Jockey Outfit, then printed it out onto Neenah cardstock. The outfit was colored with Copic markers. I fussy cut the separate parts and then re-assembled the image so that she was intact again. Using my trusty Sakura Quicky Glue Pen, white Fun Flock by Stampendous was added to her Santa hat, the neckline of her jacket, and her gloves. Metallic Rub-ons by Craf-t Products was used to give her boots a bit of a leathery shimmer.

The patterned papers are all from the Snow Day 6x6 pad by BoBunny. All pieces were edged using Adirondack Metallic Pearl Paint Dabber. I use this paint frequently to edge layers when I want a mat, but don't feel like adding another layer of paper. Ice Silks Acrylic Glaze was painted on to become the snowy ground.

The sentiment was computer generated, die cut, then airbrushed while still in the die.

Thanks for visiting today!
