Quiet Time

It's Topflight Stamps Tuesday! Chou and Flowers is our product focus this week! Their whimsical and wonderful Altitude Winter Story Clear Stamp Set features book dwellings and a lovely fairy, so I created a scenic card with it.

Instructions:
  1. Create an A6 card from Ash Textured Cardstock. Set aside.
  2. Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the fairy from the Altitude Winter Story Clear Stamp Set twice — once onto a panel of Bristol Paper and once onto repositionable sticker paper.
  3. Heat set the Bristol paper version. 
  4. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version adding some curved volume along the left hand side of her hair. 
  5. Place the sticker paper version atop the fairy on the Bristol paper as a mask.
  6. Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the books from the Altitude Winter Story Clear Stamp Se twice — once onto the right side of the fairy on the Bristol paper panel and once onto repositionable sticker paper.
  7. Heat set the Bristol paper version of the book houses. 
  8. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version and place it over its counterpart on the image panel.
  9. Clean and dry the books stamp and reposition it next to the other set of books.
  10. Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the books twice — once on the Bristol paper panel and once onto repositionable sticker paper. 
  11. Heat set the image panel. 
  12. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version and place it atop its counterpart. 
  13. Use the two tree dies from the Roadway Vistas Die Set 78 by AALL and Create to cut sticker paper. 
  14. Place the sticker paper trees on either side of the books on the image panel. 
  15. Place a piece of scrap acetate horizontally over the image panel slightly above the base of the book houses and the trees. 
  16. Sponge or brush Pumice Stone Distress Ink over the the tape onto the base of the image panel.
  17. Clean and dry the acetate and place it on across the image panel, covering the grey area. 
  18. Brush Tumbled Blue Distress Ink over the top of the acetate and the masked images to create a blue sky. 
  19. Brush Della Blue Elements Premium Dye Ink by Lavinia Stamps over the sky to deepen the sky's color.
  20. Use a water-filled Mini Fine Spray Mister by Spectrum Noir and lightly mist the image panel. 
  21. Thoroughly heat set the image panel.
  22. Lift all masks and color the image panel with Copic markers. 
  23. Use the Bold Stardust Clear Glittering Gelly Roll Gel Ink Pen by Sakura and a Colorless Blender to color the fairy's wings.
  24. Wipe the excess glitter off of the Blender's Nib.
  25. Rinse the nib of the blender with Colorless Blender solution.
  26. Mist the image panel with Cactus Gold Glitz Spritz. Wipe the spray bottle's nozzle with a paper towel.
  27. Use a paper towel to dab any big blots. 
  28. Heat set the panel, then mist it again with the Cactus Gold Glitz Spritz to deepen the glittery loveliness. Clean the spray bottle's nozzle again.
  29. Use a die from a rectangle A6 die set to cut the image panel. 
  30. Use the next largest die to cut white textured cardstock. 
  31. Mat the image panel die cut with the white cardstock.
  32. Adhere the matted image panel to the reserved grey A6 card. 
  33. Add a sentiment sticker from the Sentiment Stickers 6 from the Uplifting Collection to finish the card.
