This week the Topflight Stamps team is focusing on Katzelkraft's wonderful stamps. As a crazy cat lady, I had to use one of Katzelkraft's fabulous cat stamps.

Here's my card created with the  Cat with Chair Solo Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp and the 

You are Purrfect Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp Set -- both by Katzelkraft. I've also used the Crea-Nest-Lies XXL Double Stitched Rectangle Die Set by Crealies and the Mosaic Stencil by AALL and Create (on sale NOW!) with Arctic, Veri-Peri, and Medieval Blue VersaFine Clair Inks by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko.

Stamping Platform

Instructions:

1. Stamp the Cat with Chair Solo Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a panel of white cardstock. 
2. Use a craft knife and a pair of scissors to fussy-cut the image.
3. Color the image with Copic markers, edge it with a black pen, and set it aside.
4. Use one of the twelve dies included in the Crea-Nest-Lies XXL Double Stitched Rectangle Die Set to cut another panel of white cardstock which will become the background layer for the card.
5. Place a piece of low-tack tape along the bottom of the die-cut panel. 
6. Sponge or brush Arctic VersaFine Clair Ink over the tape and the background panel to color the cardstock. 
7. Use low-tack tape and/or magnets to secure the Mosaic Stencil over the inked panel. 
8. Sponge or brush Veri-Peri VersaFine Clair Ink over the stencil onto the die-cut background panel.
9. Remove the stencil and move the tape to cover the top part of the die-cut background panel. 
10. Sponge or brush Medieval Blue VersaFine Clair Ink right below the tape, then continue to sponge or brush Veri-Peri VersaFine Clair Ink to the bottom of the die-cut background panel. Heat set.
11. Sponge or brush a scrap of white cardstock with Arctic VersaFine Clair Ink. 
12. Use low-tack tape and/or magnets to secure the Mosaic Stencil over the inked panel. 
13. Sponge or brush Arctic VersaFine Clair Ink over the stencil onto the scrap of cardstock to create a tone-on-tone pattern.
14. Place this scrap onto a stamping platform and secure with magnets. 
15. Place the "purrfect" sentiment stamp from the You are Purrfect Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp Set facedown on the stenciled scrap. 
16. Press the lid of the platform onto the back of the stamp and lift.
17. Ink the stamp with Veri-Peri VersaFine Clair Ink and stamp. 
18. Re-ink and stamp again to deepen the color.  
19. Remove the sentiment panel from the stamping platform and heat set.
20. Use a rectangle cutting die to cut the sentiment. 
21. Use a slightly larger rectangle cutting die to cut another scrap of white cardstock. 
22. Ink the larger rectangle die-cut with Veri-Peri VersaFine Clair Ink, heat set, and use to mat the sentiment die-cut.
23. Adhere the matted sentiment die-cuts to the background die-cut panel so that the stencil pattern aligns with it. 
24. Adhere the fussy-cut, colored Cat with Chair image as shown. 
25. Use a black chalk pencil to add a bit of shadow under the chair and cat.
26. Cut a piece of white cardstock to 8.5" x 5.75". 
27. Score at 4.25" and fold to form a card. 
28. Press and slide the Medieval Blue VersaFine Clair Inkpad along the outside .5" periphery of the card, then heat set the card. 
29. Adhere the image panel to the card to finish it.
