Owl You Need Is Love

Greetings! It's Tuesday which means it's time to share a project created for Topflight Stamps. This week the team's focus is on Lavinia Stamps' wonderful products. I've used their Ginger Clear Polymer Stamp, Bijou Clear Polymer Stamp,  Tree Den Clear Polymer Stamp. and Fairy Charms Clear Polymer Stamp Set for my images. I also used their Acetate Circle Masks and the Replenish Stencil with their Blue Lagoon and Dark Denim Elements Inks.

Stamping Platform

Instructions:

1. Create a 5" x 7" card from Classic Blue cardstock. Set it aside.
2. Place a sheet of white cardstock onto your stamping platform secured with magnets.
3. Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the Bijou Clear Polymer Stamp twice — once onto the image panel and again onto repositionable sticker paper. 
4. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version and place it over Bijou on the image panel.
5. Place the Ginger Clear Polymer Stamp to Bijou's left and stamp it twice with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. 
6. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version of Ginger and place it over his counterpart on the image panel. 
7. Place the Tree Den Clear Polymer Stamp, used as a tree branch,  under both Ginger and Bijou's feet. Stamp it twice with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. 
8. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version of the Tree Den and place it over its counterpart on the image panel.
9. Remove the image panel from the stamping platform and place it onto the STAY-tion secured with magnets and/or low-tack tape. 
10. Place the smallest circle from the Acetate Circle Masks above Ginger and Bijou.
11. Lightly brush Dark Denim Elements Ink over the masked images onto the image panel. 
12. Brush Blue Lagoon Elements Ink over the darker blue to create a richer blue. 
13. Place the Replenish Stencil over the image panel and secure with magnets and/or low-tack tape. 
14. Brush Blue Lagoon Elements Inkover the stencil to add a tone on tone heart pattern to the background.
15. Remove and clean the stencils and acetate circle mask.
16. Remove the masks from the stamped images.
17. Color the images with Copic markers.
18. Place the image panel back onto the stamping platform secured with magnets.
19. Place small pieces of low-tack tape over Ginger and Bijou's beaks. 
20. Position the two heart charms from the Fairy Charms Clear Polymer Stamp Set so it would look as though the owls were carrying the heart charms. 
21. Ink both stamps with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink and stamp. Re-ink and stamp again if necessary to attain good impressions.
22. Remove the heart charm stamps.
23. Remove the two pieces of low-tack tape.
24. Position a sentiment from the retired Owl You Need Clear Stamp Set 156 over the moon.
25. Ink the sentiment stamp with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink and stamp. Re-ink and stamp again if necessary to attain good impressions.
26. Use a Gelly Roll Bold Line Stardust Clear Glittering Ink Pen to add a glittery outline to the moon.
27. Trim the image panel to 4.375" x 6.375" and edge with a black marker.
28. Adhere the image panel to a piece of white cardstock.
29. Adhere the matted image panel to the reserved blue 5" x 7" card.
