Spring Lily Card

Greetings! It's Tuesday so it's time to share a project created for Topflight Stamps. This week my TFS teammates and I are focusing on Spring! I'm hopeful that we'll soon see warmer and drier weather here in the Northeast!

Instructions:
  1. Create an A6 card from Avalanche cardstock. Set aside.Using a stamping platform and Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink, stamp the L is for Lily Unmounted Rubber Stamp 599 onto a piece of white watercolor paper. 
  2. Re-ink and stamp again if necessary to attain a good impression.
  3. Pour Detail Gold embossing powder onto the inked image, dump off the excess, and heat set to melt the embossing powder.
  4. Use Zig Clean Color Brush markers and paint brushes to watercolor the image and the entire image panel. 
  5. Heat set the image panel.
  6. Use a scissors blade to distress the edges then use a sanding block or emory board to sand them  back further to reveal more white around the edges. 
  7. Trim a piece of patterned paper from the Ink Drops - Candy 6x6 Patterned Paper Pad to 4.25" x 6" to form the card front. 
  8. Drag the edge of the Nocturne VersaFine Clair Inkpad along the edge of the patterned paper card front. 
  9. Pull all four sides of the paper  through a pile of Detail Gold embossing powder and heat set. 
  10. Adhere the image panel was adhered to the card front, then adhere to the reserved white A6 card.
