Three Spring Cards

This week my Topflight Stamps teammates and I are celebrating Spring or Mother's Day! I decided to make a trio of 5" x 3.5" cards with the one of the floral stamps from the ATC Backgrounds Clear Stamp Set by Melina Dahl for That's Crafty. While the cards feature the same design, each card has a different color scheme with background layers created with stencils and ink.

Stamping Platform

Instructions:
  1. Use a stamping platform and Tuxedo Black Memento ink to stamp the  beautiful floral spray stamp from the ATC Backgrounds Clear Stamp Set onto three pieces of white cardstock. 
  2. Color each image with Copic markers and  trim them to the same size.
  3. Select three pieces of cardstock to match your color scheme.
  4. Trim each piece to 5" x 7", score at 3.5", and fold to form 5" x 3.5" cards.
  5. Trim the remaining pieces to 4.75" x 3.25" card panels and slightly larger than the image panel for the mats.
  6. Mat all three image panels with the corresponding colored mats. 
  7. For the blue card, sponge or brush Medieval Blue VersaFine Clair Ink over the Checkered Stencil onto the blue panel then heat set.
  8. Sponge or brush Sundance Elements Inks over the Divine Stencil onto the yellow panel.
  9. Sponge or brush Glamorous VersaFine Clair Inks over two of the windows on the Inner Peace Swirl Windows Stencil onto the pink panel then heat set.
  10. Adhere the stenciled panels to the matching cards then adhere the matted image panel to finish all three cards.
