Instructions:
- Cut a piece of black cardstock to 8" x 8.5". Score at 4" and fold to form a slimline card. Set aside.
- Use Tuxedo Black Memento ink to stamp both the cat and the witch hat from the Hocus Pocus Clear Stamp Set #570 by Bipasha BK onto Solar White cardstock.
- Fussy-cut both images, color them with Copic markers, and edge with a dark marker. Set them aside while creating the background.
- Use the largest die from the Essential Rectangle Frames Die Set to cut a piece of Mixed Media paper two times.
- Use magnets to secure one of the die-cuts to the STAY-tion.
- Use a magnet to secure the smallest circle from the Acetate Circle Masks to the die-cut.
- Brush Violet Chalk, Blue Lagoon, and Graphite Elements Inks over the mask onto the die-cut to create a night sky.
- Remove the mask and heat set the die-cut.
- Trim about one third of the other slimline die-cut, then brush Lime Punch Elements Ink across it to create a grassy lawn for the cat.
- Place the green-brushed die-cut onto a cutting mat.
- Place the flat hills mask from the Acetate Hills Masks at the top of die-cut then use a fine-tipped stylus to trace the edge of the mask repeatedly to create a score line.
- Tear the green cardstock along the score line and use Pine Elements Ink to edge it.
- Use magnets to secure the green die-cut to the STAY-tion.
- Place the same mask from Step #11 an inch or so below the edge of the grassy die-cut.
- Brush Pine Elements Ink over the top of the mask onto the die-cut.
- Move the mask downward and a little to one side.
- Brush Pine Elements Ink over the top of the mask onto the die-cut.
- Repeat Steps #16 and #17 until you're happy with the grassy lawn.
- Adhere the grass die-cut to the bottom of the night sky die-cut.
- Temporarily position the fussy-cut Copic colored cat onto the grass as desired.
- Use a chalk pencil to loosely trace the bottom of the cat.
- Remove the cat and set aside.
- Brush Pine Elements Inks to add a shaded area around the traced outline.
- Adhere the fussy-cut Copic colored cat to the background as shown.
- The background type, lines, and blots from the witch hat stamp were removed when I fussy-cut the hat, I wanted to add them back.
- Stamp the witch hat from the Hocus Pocus Clear Stamp Set #570 onto repositionable label paper, fussy-cut it, and position it atop the cat's head as a mask.
- Clean and dry the stamp.
- Use magnets to secure the image panel to the base of the stamping platform.
- Place the cleaned witch hat stamp facedown onto the mask.
- Press the platform's lid onto the back of the stamp and lift.
- Ink the stamp with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink and stamp to add the blotches and type from the stamp back onto the the background.
- Repeat inking and stamping if necessary for a good impression.
- Heat set the image panel.
- Remove the witch hat mask from the image panel.
- Adhere the colored and fussy-cut witch hat on the cat's head.
- Randomly stamp back stars with the Reverse Stars Clear Stamp Set 3485 by Bipasha BK and Onyx Black VersaFine Ink.
- Heat set the image panel.
- Use Onyx Black VersaFine Ink to edge the image panel die-cut.
- Heat set.
- Cut orange cardstock slightly larger than the image panel die-cut and use to mat the image panel.
- Adhere the matted image panel to the reserved black card.
- Use the Gelly Roll Bold Line Stardust® Clear Glittering Ink by Sakura to add glitter to the rim of the moon.
