"let your spirit take flight" Journal Page

I'm sharing my Topflight Stamps project on Friday rather than Tuesday. The lovely Ericka helped me out by switching days with me due to a minor accident that kept me out of my craft room. This week my teammates and are are making projects with stars! I've created an art journal page with Visible Image'Angels Clear Polymer Stamp Set,  AALL and Create'Reverse Stars Clear Stamp #485 and Scripted Stars Clear Stamp #458, with the Lavinia Stamps' "Let your spirit take flight" Clear Polymer Sentiment Stamp.

Here it is!

Preface:
I recently created a galaxy background using VersaFine Clair™ Ink by Tsukineko® and decided to try to make one with Elements Inks by Lavinia Stamps to compare the blendability and the depth of color.

Instructions:
  1. Use magnets to secure a piece of 4.75" x 8" Mixed Media paper to the STAY-TION.
  2. Use Lavinia Stamps Blenders to blend ConfettiBlue LagoonViolet Chalk, and Graphite Elements Inks onto the panel until pleased with the background.
  3. Mist water over the panel then heat set to create speckled background.
  4. Use Graphite Elements Ink to stamp Scripted Stars Clear Stamp #458 by Bipasha BK on the top left and bottom right.
  5. Use Graphite Elements Ink to stamp Reverse Stars Clear Stamp #485 by Autour de Mwa on the top right and bottom right.
  6. Use Graphite Elements Ink to stamp the Mini Star and Bursts Clear Polymer Stamps between and betwixt the other images.
  7. Heat set the panel.
  8. Use magnets to secure the stamped galaxy background to the base of a stamping platform.
  9. Position the large angel from the Angels Clear Polymer Stamp Set facedown where desired.
  10. Press the lid of the platform onto the back of the stamp, then lift the lid.
  11. Ink the stamp with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink and stamp.
  12. Repeat inking and stamping the Angel to get a good solid impression.
  13. Remove the background panel and heat set.
  14. Trim the background panel to 4.75".
  15. Use Graphite Elements Ink to edge the background panel.
  16. Use Paradise VersaFine Clair Ink to stamp the "Let your spirit take flight" Clear Polymer Sentiment onto black cardstock.
  17. Add Silver Detail Embossing Powder to the stamped sentiment, dump off the excess, then heat set.
  18. Use a rectangular strip die to cut the sentiment, then trim to 4.75".
  19. Add dimensional foam adhesive squares to the center of the die-cut, then adhere to the background panel.
  20. Use Midnight Black Prism Inka very deep black dye ink, to ink a 1" border around the journal page and heat set.
  21. Adhere the image panel to the journal page.
