It's Tuesday which means it's my day to share a project created for Topflight Stamps. This week my teammates and I are showcasing Crafty Individuals' wonderful stamps!
As a crazy cat lady, I satisfy my urges to get more cats by amassing cat-themed crafting products. So when I saw Crafty Individuals' Trilby Cats Unmounted Rubber Stamp #568 and Burglar Cats Unmounted Rubber Stamp #571, I had to have them.
Here's a card using Crafty Individuals' Trilby Cats Unmounted Rubber Stamp #568 with a sentiment from the Holiday Sentiment Duos Clear Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle.

Instructions:
- Cut a piece of green cardstock to 10" x 7".
- Score the cardstock at 5" and fold to form a 5" x 7" card. Set aside.
- Stamp Trilby Cats twice with Memento ink onto two panels of Neenah cardstock.
- Fussy-cut the cat on the right entirely.
- Fussy-cut the cat on the left pretending that the overlapping cat isn't there. That probably didn't make sense. I should have taken a photo.
- Color both cats with Copic markers and edge with a dark marker.
- Use Black Stardust Glitter pen to enhance the eyes and noses and make them stand out more. Glitteryness is an added benefit.
- Put the cats aside. They'll either play or sleep. Maybe both.
- Squish Lime Punch Elements Ink onto a craft mat. Spritz with water.
- Dip a piece of watercolor or mixed media paper into the inky puddle until the ink is gone. Clean the craft mat.
- Repeat Steps #7 and #8 using Pine Elements Ink.
- Heat set the panel.
- Sprinkle Emerald Green Brusho Crystal Colours onto the craft mat, spritz with water.
- Dip your fan brush into the Brusho Puddle and splatter the panel. Repeat until you're happy with the splattered panel.
- Heat set.
- Sandwich the panel between two pieces of cardstock. Place onto the base of your die-cutting machine. Place both cutting dies over the sandwiched panel. Crank through your machine several times to flatten the panel.
- Use magnets to secure the inked flattened panel to the base of a stamping platform.
- Place the Trilby Cats stamp face down onto the panel.
- Press the platform's lid onto the back of the stamp and lift.
- Ink the stamp with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink and stamp.
- Re-ink and stamp if necessary to get a good impression.
- Heat Set.
- Trim the image panel.
- Use the Graphite pencil to outline the cats and smudge towards the inside of the stamped images.
- Tear Washi tape and place under the cats as shown.
- Adhere the reserved fussy-cut and colored cats over their counterparts.
- Use magnets to secure a leftover piece of the inked and Brushoed paper to the stamping platform.
- Place the sentiment facedown onto the paper.
- Press the platform's lid onto the back of the stamp and lift.
- Ink the stamp with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink and stamp.
- Re-ink and stamp if necessary to get a good impression.
- Heat Set.
- Use a speech bubble die to cut the sentiment.
- Ink the holly die with Evergreen Prism Ink. Tape the die facedown onto another piece of the leftover inked and Brushoed paper.
- Repeat as necessary to get several pairs of holly die-cuts.
- Use Evergreen Prism Ink to edge the image panel, sentiment speech bubble, and the holly die-cuts.
- Cut a piece of plaid patterned paper to 4.75" x 6.75", edge with Evergreen Prism Ink, and adhere to the reserved green card.
- Adhere the image panel and sentiment to the plaid patterned paper as shown.
- Adhere the holly leaves as shown.
- Adhere self-adhesive red gemstones as holly berries to finish the card.
