It's a Girl Thing Blog Hop
I am participating in a blog hop that is designed to increase awareness about Turner Syndrome, which is a genetic disorder where girls are born without the second X Chromosome. This syndrome leads to lifelong medical issues, learning disabilities, and anxiety. Click here to learn more about this syndrome. *The copyright date on the patterned paper was 1999, so it was 20 years old! Wow. Am I a hoarder or what?

Instructions:

  1. Cut Concord Jam cardstock to 11" x 5.5", score at 5.5", and fold to form a 5.5" square card.
  2. Cut rose flecked paper to 5.25" square and edge with Black Soot Distress ink.
  3. Using Memento ink, stamp the image onto white cardstock and color with Copic markers. 
  4. Use the pink chalk pencil to add a touch of blush to the beauty's cheeks.
  5. Use the lavender chalk pencil to shade the side of the nose and under the cheeks, nose, and jawline. 
  6. Trim the image panel to 5" square and edge with Black Soot Distress ink.
  7. Stamp the sentiment with the Monarch VersaFine Clair ink, die-cut with the ticket die, and lightly edge with the Monarch VersaFine Clair ink.
  8. Adhere the image panel to the card front.
  9. Adhere the sentiment to finish the card.
