Mermaid at Heart

Here's a card with another of Stampendous' new ocean-themed stamp sets.

Here's my WindowRama card with the new Mermaid Fun Cling Stamp Set.

Instructions:
  1. Use the WindowRama Base die and cut silver cardstock twice. 
  2. Use the Riveted Metal embossing folder to dry emboss one of the the silver die-cuts.
  3. Use the circle die from the WindowRama die set to the embossed silver die-cut, then fold both sides backward to form the front of the card.
  4. Find the rings die that matches the size of the circular hole in the card. Use this die to cut silver cardstock.
  5. Use the screws from the Hardware die to cut silver cardstock and adhere the screws onto the die-cut ring. Adhere the die-cut ring over the circle on the card front.
  6. Use Memento ink to stamp the Mermaid scene onto white cardstock.
  7. Use Copic markers to color the scene. 
  8. Use the rounded square from the WindowRama die set to cut the image panel.
  9. Use  the Glaze Glossy Gel Pen to add several layers to the seahorse's eye, the bubbles, the crab's eyes and claws, and the mermaid's shell and pearls.
  10. Adhere the image panel to the center of the silver cardstock back.
  11. Use VersaFine Clair ink to stamp the sentiment onto white cardstock. 
  12. Use a rectangle die from the Build a Pop Up Die set to cut the sentiment.
  13. Color the sentiment with the BG11 marker to match the sea.
  14. Use one of the dies from the Nameplate set to cut silver cardstock.
  15. Use the screws from the Hardware die set to cut silver cardstock.
  16. Adhere the sentiment to the silver nameplate and add the screws on either side.
  17. Adhere the sentiment to the wood-paneled patterned paper card front.
  18. Adhere the card front to the card back with either strong tape or liquid adhesive.
