Bombshell's Ornament Challenge!

Bombshell's December's Guest Designer (aka Ms. December), Monika, issued an ornament challenge.

Here's mine:

I used the Santa Teddy Bear from Bombshell's Holiday Accessory set.

The teddy bear was colored with Copic markers, which I'll list below. I mounted him onto a coaster, then die cut the coaster using a Sizzix circle die. I sponged around him using Distress Ink, since I think he's a vintage teddy. Oh. I almost forgot. Black Glaze gel pen was added to his eyes and nose for dimension and shine.

White metallic cardstock was adhered to white chipboard, then die cut with a Sizzix Bigs Snowflake die. I adhered the Santa Teddy to the center of the snowflake, then added Holographic Glitter Liner by Viva Decor.

Here's a close up of Santa Teddy.

Since we don't celebrate Christmas at our house, I hung my ornament in my rubber tree, which is also decorated with some plastic skeletons.

Copic Markers Used:
Hat: R22, R24, R37
Hat's trim: N0, N1, N3
Teddy: E40, E41, E43, E44, E47, E49

I shall be entering this ornament into the following challenges:

  5. Thank you for sharing your piece in the "Alatered Art" Challenge at Craft Your Passion! What a fun idea to alter a coaster... I'm usually going the other way around and making a coaster out of something! LOL! It pays to think out of the box!
