Since the play room became my craft room ages ago, I decided it was time to get rid of the Minnie & Mickey Mouse switchplate.
I first painted the edges and holes in the switchplate with Pearl and Gold Adirondack Dabber Acrylic paint. While that was drying, I stamped the middle size of Third Coast Stamps' Fairy Cat onto old rainbow striped Club Scrap patterned cardstock, colored the cat with Copics, stamped the tiny dragonfly from the Printer's Type alphabet set by Hero Arts, cut the holes in the patterned cardstock, then adhered the finished piece to the switchplate using Martha Stewart's decoupage glue. When that was dry, I coated the entire switchplate with another coat of decoupage glue to seal it.
Thanks for visiting today!
