Instructions:

  1. Create a 5" x 7" card from Kraft cardstock.
  2. Stamp House-Mouse Designs™ Keeping Cool Stamp onto white cardstock.
  3. Color the image with Copic markers, add pink pencil to the cheeks and ears, then die-cut the image panel using one of the dies from the Fitted Frames B Die Cut Set.
  4. Die-cut white cardstock with the next largest die from the Fitted Frames B Die Cut Set.
  5. Mat the image panel with the white cardstock.
  6. Using the stamp tool, stamp the sentiment with black ink as shown.
  7. Add the matted image panel to complete the card.

Instructions:

  1. Stamp Citrus Sour onto white cardstock with Memento ink. 
  2. Color the mice and the scene with Copic markers. Use the pink chalk pencil to add color to the cheeks and ears of the mice.
  3. Die-cut the image panel using one of the dies from the Fitted Frames B Die Cut Set.
  4. Die-cut yellow cardstock using the next largest of the dies from the Fitted Frames B Die Cut Set.
  5. Mat the image panel with the yellow die-cut.
  6. Cut the patterned paper to 6" x 12 square, fold to form a card, then sponge the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink.
  7. Stamp the sentiment onto a scrap of the patterned paper using the Small Typewriter Alphabet Perfect Clear Stamp Set with Palette Noir Black ink.
  8. Die-cut the sentiment using one of the dies from the Fitted Frames B Die Cut Set.
  9. Die-cut yellow cardstock using the next largest of the dies from the Fitted Frames B Die Cut Set.
  10. Adhere the matted image panel and sentiment die-cuts to the card.

Instructions:
  1. Stamp Ronnie, color with Copic markers, highlight bangle bracelets with glitter pen.
  2. Fussy-cut and edge with a black marker.
  3. Trim a scrap of patterned paper* and edge with Black Soot Distress ink.
  4. Cut, score, and fold a piece of green cardstock.
  5. Adhere patterned paper and adhere image panel.
  6. Ta-Dah. Done!
*My patterned paper was actually a scrap of hoarded patterned paper from years ago. It had cocktails on it and was cheerful, so I kept it. I might actually have whole sheets of it too since I'm a packrat.

I love this stamp set and decided to create a side step card using The Stamp Doctor's Side Step Card Die, which cuts out (pun intended) all the usual math, calculations, and measuring involved in a card like this. Instructions:
  1. Stamp Ronnie with Tuxedo Black Memento ink, die-cut with a square die, then color with Copic markers.
  2. Add several layers of Clear Gelly Glaze pen to the drinks.
  3. Die-cut Kraft cardstock using the Side Step Card die.
  4. Measure the panels of the card, cut the clocks, lightbulb, and key papers accordingly, the adhere to the Side Step card.
  5. Die-cut Cheers from a scrap of teal cardstock and adhere to the panel as shown.
  6. Adhere the stamped colored image to finish the card.

Coffee Time!

Instructions:
  1. Create a 5" x 7" card from Kraft cardstock.
  2. Stamp image onto white cardstock and color with Copic markers and use pink chalk pencil to add blush to the cheeks and ears.
  3. Mat image panel with teal cardstock cut 1/8" wider than the image panel.
  4. Cut a piece of kraft cardstock to 4 5/8" x 6 5/8".
  5. Cut another piece of teal cardstock to 4.75" x 6.75". Mat the kraft cardstock with the teal cardstock.
  6. Stamp the Curio Coffee Friend onto kraft cardstock, then die-cut with a small circle die so that you have the sentiment within the circle. Use the paint marker to color the circles.
  7. Die-cut a scrap of teal cardstock with a pinked circle die.
  8. Mat the circle sentiment die-cut onto the pinked circle die-cut.
  9. Using a strong adhesive, adhere the ribbon along the right side of the card front. 
  10. Use the same strong adhesive to adhere the pinked sentiment circle as shown.
  11. Adhere the card front to the card.

Instructions:

  1. Create an A2 card from orange cardstock.
  2. Stamp Happy Bday Cat  image onto white cardstock and color with Copic markers. Add Glaze® 3D Glossy ink to the flames of the candles for dimension and shine. 
  3. Trim image and set aside.
  4. Cut a 2" strip of yellow cardstock, then stamp borders from the Laurel Burch Icons Perfectly Clear™ set to the top and bottom of the strip. 
  5. Color the borders with Copic markers, then add glittery highlights with the Stardust® pens.
  6. Cut the strip into two pieces, then adhere to the orange card as shown.
  7. Adhere the Bday Cat image to the card.

Time Flies!

I'm so excited to announce that I recently joined Passionate Paper Creations' Design Team and am working with a wonderful group of talented ladies. This week, our sponsor is Ching-Chou Kuik, an artist whose work I've admired for ages!

Here's my card using Time Flies



Supplies used:
Time Flies digital stamp: Ching-Chou Kuik
Solar Crest White cardstock: Neenah
Timekeeper 6x6 pad: Marion Smith
Big and Little Chained Rectangles die: Gina Marie Designs
Old Paper Distress ink: Ranger
Foil border sticker: source unknown
Copic markers as follows:
Skin: E50, BV0000, BG0000, E21, E11, E000, BV20
Hair: E51, E53, E55, YR30
Dress: B21, B34, B37, B39
Roses: Y21, Y35, Y38, YG 63, YG67
Bird: B21, B34, B37, R56
Banner: E81, E84, E87
Clock: Y23, Y26, Y28

Directions:
  1. Re-size image using PhotoElements, print onto cardstock using a laser printer.
  2. Color image as desired.
  3. Die-cut image and leave the cardstock in the die. 
  4. Brush Old Paper Distress ink over the die onto the cardstock.
  5. Remove the cardstock from the die.
  6. Cut patterned paper to 4.75" wide. Flip the leftover strip of patterned paper and adhere over the remainder as shown. 
  7. Add foil border sticker over seam between the papers.
  8. Sponge all edges with Old Paper Distress ink.
  9. Adhere the image panel.
  10. Adhere the card front to a 5" x 6.25" Kraft card.
