Coffee Time!

My Stampendous teammates and I are joining the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! In addition to lots of coffee-themed temptation, there will be all sorts of nifty prizes, so be sure to hop and comment along your way.

Here's my card with the wonderful new House-Mouse Designs™ Coffee Break stamp and the Curio Coffee Friend stamp.

Pink Chalk Pencil by General Pencils

Circle and Pinked Circle Nestabilities Dies by Spellbinders
Burlap Ribbon (Source Unknown)
White, teal, and Kraft cardstock


Instructions:
  1. Create a 5" x 7" card from Kraft cardstock.
  2. Stamp image onto white cardstock and color with Copic markers and use pink chalk pencil to add blush to the cheeks and ears.
  3. Mat image panel with teal cardstock cut 1/8" wider than the image panel.
  4. Cut a piece of kraft cardstock to 4 5/8" x 6 5/8".
  5. Cut another piece of teal cardstock to 4.75" x 6.75". Mat the kraft cardstock with the teal cardstock.
  6. Stamp the Curio Coffee Friend onto kraft cardstock, then die-cut with a small circle die so that you have the sentiment within the circle. Use the paint marker to color the circles.
  7. Die-cut a scrap of teal cardstock with a pinked circle die.
  8. Mat the circle sentiment die-cut onto the pinked circle die-cut.
  9. Using a strong adhesive, adhere the ribbon along the right side of the card front. 
  10. Use the same strong adhesive to adhere the pinked sentiment circle as shown.
  11. Adhere the card front to the card.

  14. Such a sweet little scene with the mice, Kathy. Love how you colored it up and boy does that mug just pop in that pretty bright color green. Great design too. Love it.
