 It's Topflight Stamps Tuesday. This week's focus is on Washi Tape. As I love birds, Steampunk, and AALL and Create's Layer-It-Up Washi Tapes, I had to use the Techno Tweet Layer It Up Washi Tape 124 by AALL and Create. I also used the Garden Gears Clear Stamp Set 1229 and the Multilayered Cogs Clear Stamp Set 664.

Stamping Platform

Instructions:

1. Create a 7" x 5" from grey cardstock. Set aside.
2. Apply the Techno Tweet Layer It Up Washi Tape 124  to Mixed Media paper. I ended up making four copies because I was on a roll.
3. Irregularly cut around the image, except for the ends of the pipe which were closely trimmed. 
4. Use a black pen to edge the image panel. Set aside.
5. Brush Soft Cygnet Elements Ink onto the top portion of a 7" x 5" piece of Mixed Media paper to create a background panel. 
6. Brush Bermuda Elements Ink onto the bottom and sides of the panel. 
7. Use a water-filled Fine Spray Misters to mist the panel. Heat set. 
8. Brush Mermaid and Blue Atoll Elements Inks along the bottom part of the panel. 
9. Mist and heat set again. 
10. Brush Lemon Drop Elements Ink onto the splotchy areas. 
11. Thoroughly heat set the panel and flatten it as much as possible.
12. Trim the panel to 6.75" by 4.75" and place it onto the base of a stamping platform. 
13. Position the Garden Gears Clear Stamp Set 1229 facedown on the right side of the background panel. 
14. Use low-tack tape to cover the flower on the stamp, ink the tape-covered stamp with Morning Mist VersaFine Clair Ink, remove the tape, and stamp. 
15. Position the Multilayered Cogs Clear Stamp 664 facedown in the center of the background panel then stamp with Morning Mist VersaFine Clair Ink. 
16. Position the cogs stamp from the Flowers and Cogs Clear Stamp Set 195 on the left side and stamp with Morning Mist VersaFine Clair Ink. 
17. Use Morning Mist VersaFine Clair Ink to edge the panel, then heat set the entire panel.
18. Use Russet Orange Elements Inks to ink a small piece of Mixed Media paper. Heat set it. 
19. Spray the inked paper with Cattail Copper Brown Stardust Spray from the Autumn Leaves Stardust Spray Set and heat set. 
20. Use the Nails and Screws cutting die to cut the paper and use a silver metallic pen to add additional detail.
21. Use the Steampunk Pipes cutting die set to cut cut the faucet, the gauge, and the pipes. 
22. Brush a small piece of Mixed Media paper with Soft Cygnet Elements Ink. 
23. Use the gauge die to cut it to create the gauge's face. 
24. Use a black marker to edge all the die-cuts and a black fine-liner to emphasize the embossed details.
25. Adhere the Techno Tweet Layer It Up Washi Tape image panel to the background panel. 
26. Adhere the screws and nails die-cuts as shown. 
27. Adhere the faucet to the right side of the Washi-Tape pipe and the pipes and gauges to the left side of the Washi-Tape pipe. 
28. Use a stamping platform and Morning Mist VersaFine Clair Ink to add the sentiments from the Love Birds Clear Stamp Sest 155 to the card front. 
29. Adhere the card front to the reserved grey 7" x 5" card. 
30. Adhere the clear red heart epoxy stickers to finish the card.
