Valentine's Day Card

It's Topflight Stamps Tuesday! This week's theme is "Anything Goes" and I've made another Valentine's Day Card. Stamping Platform

Note: It's always fun to extend the usefulness of your patterned paper by stamping on it, then coloring with alcohol markers. Not all patterned paper will hold up to this technique, so always be sure to text the paper before proceding.

Instructions:

1. Create an A6 card from purple cardstock. Set aside.
2. Select a piece of patterned paper from the Ink Drops - Vivid 6x6 Patterned Paper Pad.
3. Use the second largest die from the Crea-Nest-Lies XXL Double Stiched Rectangle Die Set to cut the patterned paper.
4. Use magnets and/or low-tack tape to secure the patterned paper die-cut to the base of a stamping platform. 
5. Position the large frame stamp from the Midnight Elegy A5 Clear Stamp Set facedown on the die-cut.
6. Ink the stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and stamp. Re-ink and stamp again if needed to attain a good impression. 
7. Position the large rose stamp from the Midnight Elegy A5 Clear Stamp Set facedown in the center of the stamped image. 
8. Ink the stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and stamp. Re-ink and stamp again if needed to attain a good impression. 
9. Position the "happy valentine's day" sentiment stamp from the Classic Sentiments Clear Stamp Set facedown in the top left of the frame. 
10. Position the "with love" sentiment stamp from the More Classic Sentiments Clear Stamp Set facedown in the bottom right of the frame. 
11. Ink both sentiment stamps with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink and stamp. Re-ink the stamps and stamp again if needed to attain a good impression.
12. Position the barbed wire stamp from the Midnight Elegy A5 Clear Stamp Set facedown around the rose. 
13. Ink the stamp with Starlite Black Brilliance Ink and stamp.
14. Remove the image panel die-cut from the stamping platform and and use the Starlite Black Brilliance Ink to edge the panel. 
15. Heat set the entire panel.
16. Use Copic markers to color the rose, leaves, and the frame. 
17. Adhere the image panel to the reserved purple A6 card.
