It's Tuesday — my day to share a project created for Topflight Stamps. It's also the week of the Spring Summer Coffee Lovers Hop so as a coffee addict lover, I opted to play along.
One of the sponsors of this coffee-themed hop is Topflight Stamps. who not only has oodles of coffee themed merchandise, they're a proud sponsor of the hop and will be giving away a prize!
Let's move on to my project, which is a tag created with the Coffee Break Clear Stamp Set 817 by Janet Klein, Coffee Time Clear Stamp Set 417 By Janet Klein, and the Taggletastic Die Set 30 by AALL and Create. I also used the Coffee and Chocolate Patterned 8x8 Paper Pad and the Coffee and Chocolate Backgrounds 8x8 Paper Pad by Stamperia.

Instructions:
- Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the girl from the Coffee Break Clear Stamp Set 817 by Janet Klein onto white cardstock.
- Fussy-cut the girl.
- Color her with Copic markers* and use white gel pen to add highlights to her hair, eyes, and shoes.
- Use a black Multi-liner pen to edge the girl to get rid of those unslightly white edges.
- Set her aside.
- Use the larger tag die from the Taggletastic Die Set 30to cut coffee-bean patterned paper from the Coffee and Chocolate Backgrounds 8x8 Paper Pad by Stamperia.
- Use smaller tag die from the Taggletastic Die Set 30 cut splatter/coffee-ring/floral patterned paper from the Coffee and Chocolate Patterned 8x8 Paper Pad and another piece of the coffee-bean patterned paper.
- Trim the top of the coffee-bean paper so that the girl will be able to stand on the top edge of it.
- Edge both patterned paper tags and the strip of coffee-bean paper with Pinecone VersaFine Clair Ink.
- Adhere the strip of coffee-bean patterned paper to the base of bottom of the smaller patterned paper tag.
- Adhere the smaller patterned paper tag atop the larger tag.
- Use the speech bubble die from the Taggletastic Die Set 30 to cut coffee-splattered patterned paper, which was left over from a previous project.
- Use a piece of low-tack tape to temporarily adhere the speech bubble die-cut to the scrap of paper. *
- Use magnets to secure the scrap of patterned paper with the speech-bubble die-cut to the base of a stamping platform.
- Place one of the sentiments from the Coffee Time Clear Stamp Set 417 by Janet Klein face-down on the speech bubble die-cut.
- Press the platform's lid onto the back of the stamp and lift.
- Ink the stamp with Pinecone VersaFine Clair Ink and stamp.
- Remove and clean the sentiment stamp.
- Position the coffee beans stamp from the Coffee Time Clear Stamp Set 417 facedown on the speech bubble die-cut.
- Press the platform's lid onto the back of the stamp and lift.
- Ink the stamp with Pinecone VersaFine Clair Ink and stamp.
- Cut brown cardstock slightly larger than the tag.
- Use a circle punch to punch a hole in the center top of the tag.
- Adhere the layered patterned paper tags to the cardstock tag.
- Adhere the fussy-cut girl and the speech bubble sentiment as shown.
- Thread multi-colored jute through the hole to finish the tag.
Notes:
- Whereas I do love coffee and I once had long hair, I'm not and never has been as thin or as tall as the girl. However, I opted to color her with grey hair to reflect my own.
- The dies in this die-set are solid, so it's best to die-cut first, then stamp.
