- Position the flattest of the Hills Acetate Masks horizontally about halfway up the image panel.
- Brush Della Blue Elements Ink over the Hills Acetate Mask and Luigi.
- Brush Angel Pink Memento Ink over the background to add a pink glow to the sky.
- Remove the Hills Acetate Mask and brush Olive Elements Ink under the sky.
- Tear a piece of cardstock and place it horizontally over the image panel.
- Brush Olive Elements Ink over the torn top edge of the cardstock.
- Shift the cardstock downwards and brush Olive Elements Ink randomly over it.
- Continue moving the cardstock down the image panel and brushing the olive ink over the torn edge.
- Place the torn edge below Luigi's hooves and brush Olive Elements Ink around them.
- Put the torn cardstock aside.
- Brush Pine Elements Ink over the darker green to create grasslands for Luigi.
- Randomly brush Sahara Elements Ink to add some dried yellow grass to the grasslands.
- Remove Luigi's mask and reserve.
- Use Copic markers to color Luigi.
- Airbrush a piece of white cardstock with the R01.
