Happy Holidays

It's Tuesday, my day to share a project created for Topflight Stamps. This week my teammates and I are focussing on Crafty Individuals' wonderful stamps. I've made a holiday card with the fabulous Luigi the Llama Unmounted Rubber Stamp.

Instructions:
  1. Cut a piece of Avalanche cardstock to 10" x 7", score at 5", and fold to form a 5" x 7" card. Set aside.
  2. Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp Luigi two times — once onto white cardstock and once onto repositionable sticker paper.
  3. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version and place it over Luigi as a mask.
  4. Position the flattest of the Hills Acetate Masks horizontally about halfway up the image panel.
  5. Brush Della Blue Elements Ink over the Hills Acetate Mask and Luigi
  6. Brush Angel Pink Memento Ink over the background to add a pink glow to the sky.
  7. Remove  the Hills Acetate Mask and brush Olive Elements Ink under the sky.
  8. Tear a piece of cardstock and place it horizontally over the image panel.
  9. Brush  Olive Elements Ink over the torn top edge of the cardstock.
  10. Shift the cardstock downwards and brush Olive Elements Ink randomly over it.
  11. Continue moving the cardstock down the image panel and brushing the olive ink over the torn edge.
  12. Place the torn edge below Luigi's hooves and brush Olive Elements Ink around them.
  13. Put the torn cardstock aside.
  14. Brush Pine Elements Ink over the darker green to create grasslands for Luigi.
  15. Randomly brush Sahara Elements Ink to add some dried yellow grass to the grasslands.
  16. Remove Luigi's mask and reserve.
  17. Use Copic markers to color Luigi.
  18. Airbrush a  piece of white cardstock with the R01.
  19. Use the Curved Banner Die to cut the airbrushed cardstock.
  20. Tape the banner to a piece of cardstock, then secure with magnets to the base of a stamping platform.
  21. Position the "Happy Holidays" sentiment from the Roundabout Sentiments Clear Stamp Set face-down on the banner.
  22. Press the lid onto the back of the stamp and lift the lid.
  23. Ink the stamp with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink and stamp. Re-ink if necessary to attain a good impression.
  24. Remove the stamped die-cut from the stamping platform.
  25. Heat set.
  26. Fold the banner along the scorelines.
  27. Trim the image panel  to 4.5" x 6.5" and adhere it to a 4.75" x 6.75' piece of light red cardstock.
  28. Adhere the matted image panel to the reserved white 5"x7" card.
  29. Adhere the sentiment die-cut to finish the card.
