Happy Halloween! It's Tuesday, my day to share a project created for Topflight Stamps. Here's a slimline Halloween card created with the Witches Kit Rubber Cling Stamp Set by Carabelle Studio and spiders from the Pumpkin Party Clear Stamp Set 1055 by Autour de Mwa for AALL and Create.

Stamping Platforms
Instructions:
- Cut a piece of Raven cardstock to 8" x 9". Score at 4" and fold to form a slimline card, which will fit into a #10 envelope. Put aside.
- Position the pumpkin and cat stamp, the eyeball stamp, and the skull candle stamp from the Witches Kit Rubber Cling Stamp Set horizontally on the lid of a stamping platform.
- Ink the stamps with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko and stamp twice, once onto 140 lb. Mixed Media paper and once onto repositionable sticker paper.
- Fussy-cut the label paper versions and place them over their counterparts on the image panel as masks
- Use a Circles Nestabilities die to cut the repositionable sticker paper and thin packaging cardboard.
- Cut the top and bottom of the sticker paper circle off, so that it looks like a cauldron.
- Place the sticker paper over most of the masked eyeball.
- Place a ruler horizontally across the base of image panel, covering the bottom parts of the images.
- Brush Seedless Preserves Distress ink over the masked images and the ruler onto the image panel.
- Move the ruler to cover the top part of the image.
- Brush Gathered Twigs Distress ink over the bottom portion of the image to ground the images.
- Place a stencil from Studio Light (no longer available, but several of their other stencils are available and fabulous) over the top part of the image panel..
- Brush Seedless Preserves Distress inks randomly over the stencil to add some interest to the background.
- Brush Black Soot Distress ink randomly over the stencil to add more interest to the background.
- Remove the masks from the image panel.
- Use watercolor pencils and a paint brush to color the images.
- Use a black watercolor pencil around the edges of the cauldron, place the thin packaging cardboard circle outline on the image panel so that the circle/cauldron's outline is visible.
- Sponge or brush Black Soot Distress ink over the aperture across the cauldron.
- Use chalk pencils to add multi-colored bubbling steam above the cauldron.
- Use the black chalk pencil to add shading to the the cauldron, around the eyeball, and shadows below the images.
- Use a white colored pencil to add highlights to the cauldron.
- Place the image panel back onto the stamping platform.
- Position the spider stamp from the Pumpkin Party Clear Stamp Set 1055 facedown on the top left of the image panel.
- Ink the stamp with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink and stamp.
- Remove, clean, and dry the spider stamp.
- Move it so that the spider is the left of the eyeball.
- Ink the stamp with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink and stamp.
- Remove, clean, and dry the spider stamp.
- Move it so that the spider is the left of skull.
- Ink the stamp with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink and stamp.
- Use a Black Multi-liner pen to add a web line from the spiders and their dangling source.
- Use a blue metallic marker from the Essentials Bright Metallic Colorista Markers was used to color the swirls around the pumpkin.
- Use the red metallic marker from the same set was used to add the red hourglass to the spiders' backs to transform them from normal spiders to Black Widow spiders.
- Trim the image panel to 3.75" x 8.75" and edge with Black Soot Distress ink.
- Adhere the image panel to the reserved black card.
