Journey!

I recently tried out for a design team and had to make a project specifically for the call. I got flushed, but it's all good because my project came out the way that I had pictured it in my mind's eye. I love, Love, LOVE when that happens, especially since most of my projects seem to take many left turns (maybe at Albuquerque) and/or take on a life of their own. OK. I admit it. My projects sometimes tell me what to do. I guess I really AM certifiable.

Here's my canvas.

  1. This is an amazing entry, Kathi. I think your entry is incredible. I love the little details you used, too. The fish in the pipe had me laughing.

You have NO idea how many times I start out with something in my mind and my art decides it wants to go a different way. I can truly relate. However, this piece turned out just perfect in both your eyes and mine, too. Thank you for sharing it with us at Art Journal Journey. I'm super impressed and delighted to "meet" you, too.
