Hot! Hot! Hot!

This week C.C. Designs is the sponsor at Passionate Paper Creations and Friends. When I went to select an digi stamp, I fell in love with Roberto's Rascals Grouchy Heatwave Digital stamp. The kitty's expression just made me smile and I figured he'd be perfect to use during the summer.

I also used The Stamp Doctor's new A2 Layers Combo Die set. These two sets contain 18 dies that let you create perfectly matted layers for your A2 card.

Supplies used:
Copic markers: BV23, BV25, N4, N6, N8, E04, RV93, RV95, YR16, YR18, YR35, YR38, Y000, Y13, BG000, BG11, C1, C3
Solar White Classic Crest cardstock by Neenah Papers
Ancient Sun paper by Flair Designs
Very Vintage Double Dot Designs by BoBunny
Gingham/Linen Petite Print 6x6 Paper Pad by Doodlebug Designs

Instructions:
  1. Resize image and print onto Neenah cardstock using a laser printer.
  2. Color with Copic markers.
  3. Use a craft knife to cut around the tail, then slide one of the dies from the A2 Layers Combo Die set under the cat's tail and die-cut.
  4. Use the die that is 1/8" larger to die-cut the orange/yellow polka-dotted Very Vintage patterned paper.
  5. Trim the piece of sun-printed paper and mat with the orange/yellow gingham paper.
  6. Adhere all elements to a 5" square card as shown.
Thanks for visiting today!
