To Brighten Your Mood...

This week the ladies on the Stampendous Design Team are showcasing the wonderful new Curio Stamps. Be sure to check out Stampendous' Blog to see my teammates' stunning projects. I know that you'll be inspired! Plus, you'll have the chance to win a fabulous prize from Stampendous!*

Here's my third card for Curio Stamps week. This time my card features the wonderful Curio Watering Can Rubber Stamp.

As I write this blog post, it's snowing, raining, cold, and dreary outside. I don't know about you, but I'm totally over winter. I decided to brighten my mood and color the lovely Curio Watering Can with cheerful colors using my brand new Zig® Clean Color pens.

  1. Stamp Curio Watering Can onto Mixed Media White Paper with Jet Black Archival ink.
  2. Color the image using Zig® Clean Color pens. Blend and/or soften the colors using a water brush.
  3. Cut the image panel down to size and distress the edges using a tool or the edge of a pair of scissors. I use both.
  4. Trim Double Dot Very Vintage patterned paper and edge with corresponding color of Distress ink.
  5. Stamp the sentiment from the Tweet Chirps Perfectly Clear Stamp Set onto the brown patterned paper using Palette® Noir Hybrid ink.
  6. Layer the patterned papers and adhere the image panel.
  7. Fold a sheet of 8.5" x 5.5" white cardstock in half, then adhere the card front.
I hope that my card brightens your mood. To brighten it even more, comment below for the chance to win one of these wonderful new Curio rubber stamps, which also are lovely pieces of art to display!
