Here's my ATC with Nerd Cat (Kira Nichols), who is one of my favorite Stampotique Stamps.
I love Nerd Cat because he can be a chemist (like my husband), an engineer, an accountant, or a professor. And of course, he's a cat and I love cats.
Nerd Cat was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (Imagine Crafts), colored with Copic markers, fussy-cut, then edged with a black marker. Nerd Cat's eyeglasses, pens, and buttons were coated with several layers of Clear Gelly Glaze pen to make them shiny and dimensional.
I die-cut clear acetate with the Chemistry die set (Die-namics), and got the background all set up. Then I decided that the acetate needed to be traced to make the beakers and flasks stand out more and my pen slipped, so I went with Plan B.
A piece of patterned paper was cut to 2.25" x 3.25". A piece of wood-patterned washi tape was added to the base of the card front. I used the negative space of the die-cut to trace some beakers and flasks onto the patterned paper. The beakers and flasks were colored with Copic markers, then coated them with several layers of Clear Gelly Glaze pen to make them shiny and dimensional.
Nerd Cat was adhered to the ATC front, which was mounted onto a grey cardstock ATC.
Thanks for visiting today!
I shall enter this ATC into the following challenges:
